Hours are from 8am-5pm. Basically, you get put on an B2B Trade association and are told to call from a list. The company has no policies that are enforced relating to contacting the same account. For example, a colleague can reach out a week ago and your manager will tell you to call that same company today. The salary is solid at 45K CAD/ year plus 11% commissions on new business and 7% commissions on referrals. If you don't mind selling a product that will effectively achieve nothing for you client, this is the place for you. Most of the 'marketing campaigns' are not effective and most customers do not renew their campaigns unless they are given significant price discounts. The company would often inflate prices and then offer customers "significant" discounts even though the price paid was almost equivalent to the original price. While you will develop skills in customer service and communication through cold calling, I had so many issues with how this company conducts business. It's a very slimy company.  The sales reps that have been with the company for many years own all of the large accounts for various industries which severely impacts how new sales reps perform. They do not value Canadian employees and this is shown through salaries. US employees make 45K USD to live in Texas, and Canadians make 45K CAD to live in Toronto which has a much higher cost of living. Again, if you don't mind selling ineffective solutions and being paid less than your American counterparts, this company is the place for you!

After being burned by 2 previous sales jobs that overpromised and underdelivered (I'm not naive - I began those with measured expectations and yet the employers managed to limbo under even those), MultiView's recruitment team made overtures that they were different and the senior sales management staff continued to propagate that lie throughout my 3 months there. The most recent example was not 2 days ago when someone from Texas HQ was flown up to explain the new pay structure and state that they are investing in us so that we can all be senior marketing consultants within 1 year. They have lost 50% of their business in the last 2 years - this was told to a room full of MultiView employees on May 3, 2016. They are closing their Utah office completely. Today they terminated 7 marketing consultants at their Thornhill office (myself included) and who knows how many others in the Texas HQ without any warning. Yet somehow they spent money on relaunching their website, revamping their CRM and several free lunches/activities and branded swag. And they have a full training class starting in less than 2 weeks, with the most recent graduates having hit the floor this past week. This is the most disheartening and vile experience of my 20-year work history.

I've been working with Multiview for 5 years now and I have been here through it all. I've seen people come and go. Some amazing people have come out of Multiview. The opportunity to make money is there and it can be very lucrative. 200-300K+

The problem is most people aren't willing to make the effort to work hard. I've sold every product Multiview has to offer and have helped many clients throughout the years. 

People really just want to point reasons as to why they aren't successful here instead of pointing the finger at themselves. If you work hard, you will do well here, and the support system is there to help if you want it. You'll get out of it what you put in, but its not an overnight thing. It takes time, like anything worth doing.

In any sales job will have rejection, and with that comes stress if you let it. Any sales job requires a thicker layer of skin, its not a Multiview specific problem.

you gotta be making calls at least once per 90 seconds to keep up with minimum calls/accounts made a day.

They are incentive based which is good but it's very success oriented. 

You could be making the minimums and even be 25pts over but if things aren't being closed then it's not for you.

the 8am-5pm workweek isn't worth in my own opinion as the rest of the world is ready by 9am. Even 8:30 would be so much better. 

They are very strict on timeliness in the mornings; you have to be in your desk by 8am sharp and you have to sent a grouped email to your directors otherwise.
I would arrive at times like 8:02 or 8:13 and it was a big no no.

It kinda does have a "Boiler Room" "Wolf of Wall Street" aesthetic.

Fun place to work if you have never had a real job before, they train you well, great office environment, nice perks sometimes. Too much hand-holding and micro-management though, as well as blatant favouritism. Middle management has little to no management experience or training, which can be difficult. If all you care about is money, this is the place for you.

Not a company with a bright future. The company is not transparent with its employees. Managers are completely performance driven with little focus on developing talent. Always restructuring - not a good outlook for company.

Pros
- Great training and on-boarding experience.
- Well structured processes so you always knew what you needed to do and what was expected of you.

Cons
- Career advancement was minimal. 
- Heavily sales focused company where overselling and underdelivering happened all to often.

No management core, no solid direction, no proper leadership. Basically too many cooks in the kitchen and every day is a rubix cube trying to figure out what direction next to go.

Great to learn sales directly after school.  Stay here a year max to develop thick skin, how to work in a high-pressure environment, and to develop a fearless attitude for sales.

Stay here any longer and you'll realize how much of a toxic swamp it is, and how little you matter to management.

Do not recommend, team expects the world without providing the ability to achieve said goals. Will harass you to stay late, freak out if your 1 minute behind and treat you like a child.
