Multimatic Manufacturing

I am writing this after having worked at Multimatic Concord and seeing firsthand how things operate inside the workplace.

First, I want to acknowledge that many of the people on the floor are genuinely good, hardworking individuals. The coworkers themselves are not the problem. Most of them are easy to work with, supportive, and trying to do their jobs properly despite the environment around them.

However, one issue that became impossible to ignore was the growing perception of favoritism in hiring and termination decisions. It increasingly felt like certain employees were being pushed out and replaced while preference was being given to Punjabi hires. Whether management wants to acknowledge this or not, this perception is widely talked about among employees and has seriously damaged trust within the workplace. When people start believing that fairness and merit no longer matter, it destroys morale.

Beyond that, the management system itself is deeply flawed. During my time there it often felt like many managers had little sense of direction or understanding of what they were doing. Decisions were frequently impractical and disconnected from the realities of the floor. Instead of leadership, there was confusion. Instead of clear direction, there was constant frustration.

Human Resources also fails to properly support employees when issues arise within departments. Problems are often ignored or brushed aside rather than handled in a fair and constructive way. This allows toxicity between departments and teams to grow, creating unnecessary tension in a place where people are simply trying to do their jobs.

Multimatic Concord has many capable workers and the potential to be a much better workplace than what it currently is. But without stronger leadership, accountability, and a fair system that treats employees equally, these issues will continue to damage both morale and the company’s reputation.

Busy days managing project cost for various projects from beginning to end of project/product  lifecycle.  My co-workers are supportive and management tries to be understanding.  My 14 years at the company I have learnt how to manage project cost / budget and project management tools optimizing cost, quality and time management.  The hardest part of the job is monitoring and controlling the workload because all internal/external project stakeholders are valued. The most enjoyable part of the job is challenging the unforseable and achieving goals within the set timeline.

First of all we got our machine number where we will work. I learned a lot of things there, everyday we have so many tasks like packing, assembling, machine operating. Management is very good there, they make sure all employees are safe. Time to time, they celebrate the success of company with employees and they never forget appreciate own employees, they provide treats, bonus, gifts etc. Hardest part of the job, when we leave this company. I miss Multimatic today and forever.


Dysfunctional management, although individuals have skills.
Competing objectives create unnecessary conflict and lead to a non team atmosphere.
Upper management chooses to not acknowledge or address fundamental problems at lower levels.

Working at Multimatic is very challenging at some point. You need lots of energy to get the job done within 8 hrs otherwise you get very exhausted. Teamwork needed.

A place where you will never get a promotion, a raise in salary or an internal position. 
Not a good salary place. 
Minimum job training given.

Productive and fun workplace  and good benefits . Easy to learn the machine..operators are happy to the machine . Assemblers and press stamping is also a good machine to learn and work . 

Good pay and benefits. Job is stable and people care about each other . Have worked there for 2 years and it gets better recently. More focus on making the company stronger and training will makes us have a long future

It is good place for new comers to enhance their abilities and to make easy relationship helps to get information how is the work life in canada and to enhancement thier english language

High Demand, Fast Pace Work Environment,Difficult to handle  management demand, Most enjoyable part of the job is you learn new thing everyday that's why you grow so quickly.
