Management was amazing, couldn't have asked for better. 
The most enjoyable part of the day was laundry I enjoyed the seclusion at the time. 
The hardest part of the job was when people left the trailers they've rented a horrible mess. Having to clean it would always take a long time and just be tiring. You wouldn't want to see the inside of another trailer for the rest of the day. 
Towel runs were irritating if the guest decided to be rude about it. 

I don't remember much about the day-to-day routine. 

I will say I loved it up there working, and as a guest myself. I miss it and I would for sure recommend it for a summer get away.

Typically I would work 8am-9pm with an hour break in the afternoon as well as meal breaks. The usual duties at work were washing the dishes, assigning positions for those working under me, making sure the dish pit was cleaned properly at the end of the day and restocking the kitchen when orders came in.

The hardest part of the job was finding new ways to inspire my workers to work hard.
The most enjoyable part of my job was building relationships with those working for me and those I was working for.

It was only volunteer hours for school. I did many thing while I work there, from house keeping, to severing, and to watching children at day care. The management was good. Got me trans portion to and from work as I was underage and didn't drive. The environment was amazing, meeting people from all over Ontario which was amazing. The hardest thing I'd probably say is waking up super duper early. After I got use to waking up at 5am it was fine. I loved volunteering there, everyone was so helpful and everyone worked as a team which I found wonderful.

The job lasted the two months of July and August. We would have bands that come in for worship every week that we would have to set up for every saturday. There would also be two speakers each week that we would have to set up for if they had any powerpoint presentations or needed anything technical related. We also set up for live concerts every saturday. There were also smaller events throughout the campsite that required a smaller set up.

Fun and relaxed workplace with plenty of room for growth. The grounds are lovely, and the staff are super friendly!  Internships, mentorships, team lead roles and more senior positions are available along with coaching and development activities. 

I loved the Stepping Stones program because it introduced me to many believers whom I became friends with!

There was a lot of work for little pay, but other than that, it was a great experience.

I loved working there.  The place it's self is such a beautiful place to work. It;s a great vacation spot. The majority of people of very nice. The is the odd one that has a bad day mostly everyday but all in all its amazing up there. If your a christian person different   something you would be into but even if your not, you could still have fun up there. Just to go to enjoy the scenery and the place it's self.

I lived at the camp for the summer during my employment there after I finished high school, did work as a cashier, janitor and food prep worker for one of the restaurants at the camp.I also worked independently at least one shift a week at a food truck by the beach.

Muskoka Bible Centre is a great place to work, welcoming environment & kind staff/management. I worked in several different departments at MBC for the past few years; & though some departments were more enjoyable than others, I still felt very comfortable & safe in each of them.

Overall, 9.5/10!!!

Lots of opportunity to learn about how the retail industry is run. Good connections with my coworkers allowed us to work effectively together to complete various tasks and have a fun time doing it.

management did not care about employees, only what guests thought of the place.  staff were lied to, and about.  no other thoughts were allowed, it was their way or your fired.  Christian Life was last on thier mind.
