The unionized Canadian payroll is in an awful (and very non compliant) state and the Business Manager who oversees the position is not qualified to be making payroll related decisions. Be prepared to work late, alone, often and train yourself.  Also, make sure you confirm that you will be paid for all overtime hours worked.

These guys have to be the worst run company in town. No idea their heads from their rear ends. Zero structure. Zero common sense. Not to mention the fact that management force you to do what you dont want with expired or broken equipment/ materials. 

Zero communication. Its just zero. Plain old fashioned zero. If you have any sense do not work here

Very unorganized. The company is very badly managed. Don't care about the men. You are just a number. Lots of lay offs. They treat you like you are not an important asset to the job. I felt very uncomfortable working for Matrix.

Winter driving to work location.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fair & Open and inclusive. Open Door.

Way too many Americans in Management/Supervision. (TFWs) Cowboys in construction. Get er done disregard for safety. American nepotism at its finest. Good hours while the project lasted. Totally incompetent Management/supervision.

Great company to work for, they offer support to their employees who need it.  For a big corporation they care about their employees like we are family.

Good people to work with.  Fair wages and fair benefits.  no job security at the location

Great company to work for, every day brings new and great challenges and they push you to achieve your goals. Management team are positive and hard working!
