NAVY LEAGUE OF CANADA

I had the privilege of working at the Navy League of Canada for two years, and it was a fantastic experience. The organization is deeply committed to its mission of supporting youth development and maritime affairs. 

During my time there, I was surrounded by a supportive team and had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. The leadership, especially the Executive Director was an Angel. He was always open to new ideas and encouraged innovation, which made for a dynamic and exciting work environment.

The Navy League of Canada truly values its employees and recognizes their contributions. The work-life balance was excellent, and there were ample opportunities for professional development.

Overall, I would highly highly recommend the Navy League of Canada to anyone looking for a fulfilling and meaningful career.

The Navy League Cadet Corpse of Canada is an amazing organization for youth ages 9 to 12. I would highly recommend them to anyone with kids in that age range. (For older youth ages 12 to 19 they have the option of Sea, Air, and Army Cadets). The training they receive, the activities they get to take part in, the experience, confidence, and leadership skills they learn are comparable to none. They will take these skills with them for the rest of their lives, and make life-long friendships along the way.

This was a place for volunteer work as a cadet. The Navy League of Canada gave me quite a bit of experience with children, and prepared me for all types of attitude from all types of people. Not once have I never been amazed by what I have experienced within the cadet program (Sea cadets and Navy League).

Show up as a volunteer to help teach cadet classes. Help cook and clean on weekends.No pay but great people to work with. Do not apply if you already have a busy scheduled or have commitment issues.

Working with 10-12 yr old children, helping to develop not only a few naval skills, but more so life skills and morals.  Was one of the most rewarding places to volunteer.  My life changed and unfortunately I was unable to dedicate the time needed for them.

You have to have a strong work ethic to be able to co-chair meetings as each board member brings in their own opinions about subjects discussed. Working together is best for the Sea Cadets we support.

Met many parents who had kids in Navy League and many parents who volunteered. So many great opportunities for children (under 18) to grow, learn and develop so many life skills.

Great opportunities to volunteer with youth and assist them as they achieve their goals in the program. Great for ex-cadets, ex-service personnel, or people interested in volunteering in a disciplined environment.

I love volunteering for this organization.
I have made lifelong friendships, 
Helping the corps achieve greatness is so amazingly rewarding!
Everyone pitches in to help out like one big family..

Worked many weekends and every Tuesday. Must be prepared for little gratitude. Strictly volunteer. Kids are lovely. Could've done without the adults though...
