As the former Finance Executive, I had the privilege of working alongside a talented and driven leadership team committed to sustainable growth and operational excellence. My time at the company was marked by strategic collaboration, a strong emphasis on financial transparency, and a culture that valued both innovation and accountability.

The executive team fostered an environment where data-driven decision-making was not only encouraged but expected. I appreciated the autonomy I was given to lead transformative initiatives—from optimizing legal/tax structure to implementing scalable financial reporting tools that supported the company’s expansion.

What truly set the company apart was its people. The finance/accounting team, in particular, was composed of sharp, dedicated professionals who consistently rose to the challenge. Cross-functional collaboration was seamless, and there was a shared sense of purpose that made even the most demanding projects rewarding.

I’m proud of what we accomplished together and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the company’s success. I would highly recommend the company to professionals seeking a dynamic, values-driven workplace where strategic thinking and execution go hand in hand.

I have been with NMG for a substantial amount of time and I will say that when I first joined the company I was extremely excited. I discovered in my first few days that the company was a bit "Old School" in their practices, Business formal everyday, no cell phone usage, and largely paper based when it came to historic information. NMG is a successfully run and managed company and because of this they had implemented what they thought were best practices. The problem is that the times change and what people expect from their work place changes and the management here was a little slow to realize that they needed to revisit these best practices. But you know what? They did and they continue to do so. They have changed all of the rules above, business casual now, cell phone usage is permitted and are bringing in new tools and technology to help NMG be more successful in the future and to help the employees have a better work environment. They continue to listen to the employees and seek out changes that are beneficial to the company and the employees. I am proud to work for this company and I hope that if you decide to join NMG you know that you are joining a great company that truly does care about it's employees.

The Exec group and senior management  expect that you always agree with them and are not open to ideas, feedback or opinions. Some feel they’re above the rules. They expect staff to be perfect while they meet lower standards.  Policies are not enforced evenly throughout departments making it difficult to know what is expected.  
Very "controlled" environment which creates unessesary stress and a feeling of disrespect. 
Have felt bullied and threatened on occasion 
Don’t always get clear direction or the necessary information to do your job and the directions can change on a dime.

I consider myself lucky to work for NMG, as it has led to nothing but great experiences in my professional career. NMG has created an atmosphere that allowed me to grow my personal skill set and develop outstanding relationships within our industry, all while allowing me to maintain a terrific work-life balance. I can't think of many other companies that share the company's success with its employee's the way that NMG does. It's one of the very few places that I can think that actually rewards it staff for it's efforts and for exemplary performance - your hard work get recognized and rewarded here.

As a new employee, you do not get much direction/guidance in your position, yet you're expected to get work done and meet deadlines. Some of the management are extremely insecure due to their own incompetency which leads them to poorly manage or communicate their needs when it comes to delegating projects. And if things go wrong, the blame will be shifted to you. 
When you reach out to HR for help for issues like bullying for example, you're not protected. The only enjoyable part of this job is the few employees you make friends with and payday - because they DO pay very well. 

Be careful if you're thinking about joining this company. The work environment is tough and stressful, and some good reviews are not real. 

You may feel unhappy, stressed and worry about losing your job. Some bosses and clients act badly, but nothing seems to happen to them.

Meetings aren't very useful because they often end up being about criticizing people instead of talking about work.

The company has strict rules about what you can wear and checks what you say online. It might be better to look for a job somewhere else where you can feel happier and more appreciated.

It is unfortunate that some former employees had concerns while working at NMG. We appreciate the positive contributions they made while they were part of our team, and we wish them the best in their future endeavors.

This place has SOME good quality's (some great colleagues, good exposure to external clients and contacts). Beyond that, this place is TOXIC. Management is stuck in the 80's with a mad men mentality. Behind closed doors the management team openly mocks and belittles staff members based on their appearance. The company has horrible values and management is vindictive and filled with greed. Stay away please.

NMG is a fantastic place to work. There is a great sense of teamwork and working towards the same goal. You are surrounded by resources in order to develop the skills necessary to be successful. They are quite accommodating and have measures in place to ensure your success in your role. They also promote within so there is ample opportunity to grow with the company and learn other aspects of the departments and the business as a whole. 

Over the years there have been many different paths I have taken within the company, there are always new opportunities to grow as a person and in business. The management truly cares about their employees/families wellbeing and is very accommodating.  You are not expected to do work outside of regular business hours.
