Unfortunately, I cannot at all recommend working for New-Line Hose & Fittings. While the work itself is 'okay', it leaves much to be desired in regards to fulfillment, job security, work environment, etc. 

You will likely meet some nice co-workers that share the same sentiment as this review, but overall they will be good people. Some of the department coordinators are also great people, sadly that is where my praises for this job end. 

Management is awful, you will get told one thing - then have them change their mind without warning, and they will blame you because you didn't fix this changed desire. People who never deal with the day to day logistics will be in charge of your role/performance, while not even being able to perform your tasks [even if they tried]. 

Job security is non existent here as even if you pass the probation period, they will let you go on a moments notice - without reason. (This will be a requirement for you to sign in your employment contract, if you pursue a role here) 

Safety is laughable here, the people instructing on safety are so confidently wrong in their teachings that it actively becomes a meme among the fellow co workers. Try to have some common sense when working here, don't be around heavy machinery unless trained, don't conduct in horseplay, etc. Be cautious of the teachings from your manager(s). It's usually uninformed practices. 

Everyone is terrified of Upper management, they recently hired their child (fresh from high school) to be apart of the warehouse department - and let go of more qualified people in the process. People were scared to even have a slightly negative experience with this person in fear of getting told on, and losing their job and lively hood. So, nepotism seems to be present to a scary degree. 

HR has trouble with pay roll, so make sure to double check all your information and keep up to date with it. You may need to confront them later and verify/prove your claims / hours worked to get paid what you're rightfully owed. 

If you can look past all these faults in the company, maybe it is for you. If not, I would steer clear away from this as much as possible. 



Working at New Line was a great experience from my first day to my last. The only reason I did not stay with the company is due to a job offer that I "couldn't refuse". 

The training was very good and appreciated, being in Sales I started for  a couple days doing order picking and shipping and then a few days in the production zone, seeing a variety of the products that are supplied and manufactured at New Line. This was a great hands on opportunity for being new to the sales department as it gave a real experience of how the production team operates as far as scheduling and assembling hoses for customer orders giving a better understanding of lead times etc. to be able to communicate to the customer.

Working in the sales department, I always felt respected by coworkers and management both in my department and throughout the company which was beneficial for learning about New Line's products and services. 

I feel appreciated by everyone at New Line. Plain and simple I enjoyed going to work every day I worked for New Line. The mood was always kept to a light and fun environment in the inside sales department even when very busy and stress levels could have climbed.

Management has been very good, any time there was a discussion to be had about a situation it was done with with respect. This was one of the best parts of the work experience at New Line. As mentioned already, I felt appreciated and respected every day. 

The Covid19 protocols in place at New Line are very good under the suggestions from the PHO and are abided by stringently by everyone from cleaning, mask wearing, social distancing and having a morning check in that all employees and visitors must fill in before entering any part of the building.

If I was asked by anyone, I would definitely recommend working for New Line.

What is the best part of working at the company?
As a former employee, The best part of working at Newline was the people and the culture. I look back on my time there with a lot of gratitude. The environment was supportive and really helped me grow in my role. I had to move on for personal reasons (injury), but I genuinely miss working there and still stay in touch with some of the production team from time to time.
Newline was always accommodating and flexible, and the company placed a strong emphasis on safety, which I appreciated. My experience was consistently positive. Every day was enjoyable, and it was one of the best workplaces I’ve been part of. The HR team was always helpful, and the in‑house training programs were excellent. They truly want employees to succeed. I highly recommend working here, and I have no regrets about my time with the company.

There wasn’t much to be stressed about. The only pressure came from meeting certain deadlines when required, which is normal in most jobs.

The work environment was great. It was positive, respectful, and team‑oriented. I never had any complaints and always felt supported.

A typical day was busy and fast‑paced, with steady work throughout the shift.

I've been working at New Line since April 2026, and it has been a very positive experience. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported by everyone on the team. The work environment is friendly, respectful, and collaborative, making it easy to learn and grow.

One of the best things about working here is the people. My colleagues are always willing to help, share their knowledge, and support each other. It truly feels like everyone works together as one team.

The management is professional, approachable, and places a great deal of trust in employees. They listen, understand your concerns, and genuinely care about your well-being and development. They encourage you to take on new challenges, provide opportunities for growth, and are always ready to support you in achieving your goals.

The workplace culture feels like a family. You feel safe, respected, and appreciated, which creates a positive atmosphere where everyone can do their best work. The most enjoyable part of the job is being surrounded by supportive people who motivate each other every day.

I'm grateful to be part of a company that values its employees and creates an environment where people can succeed both personally and professionally.

I've always worked for "mom & pop shop" type companies, and (even though New-Line is fairly large) I fit right in. Same family owns it since they opened (1972), and constantly growing.

I got hired on to do customer service, basically inside sales. The first few weeks they had me job shadow other positions in the company. At first I wasn't too pumped but have a better appreciation for other departments.

I knew very little about hose or fittings before accepting this position, but the training was phenomenal. I do like finding answers for myself, so I excelled at the training tests.

Hardest part: Saying no to a customer, didn't happen often but never liked giving away sale no matter what.

Most enjoyable: Staying busy, a regular day feels like 3 hours because I kept so busy and focused.

Leadership is extremely poorly operated and seems to be accepted, this would include HR right out of the gates, followed by management lies and unacceptable behaviors.

It is truly unfortunate because you have some wonderful people that want to be there who do amazing things and give it 100%. Unfortunately, your experience is quickly overshadowed and diminished due to the behavior of leadership, which carries down to a few individuals that end up causing toxic environments and ruining it for the others.

Overall, I would say if they adjust on a few steps and focus more on the employees that want to be there, put their own agenda aside for a few minutes to just listen and see what others see you would move more in a direction of a place that promotes more of a safe and welcoming experience, mentally, physically and emotionally, this is what it should be about.





I've been working for New-Line for approximately 6 months. Although I work in an office role, my first week consisted of cross-training in the warehouse with a day in each department. Through this experience, I can honestly say that New-Line is full of employees who love what they do and are happy in their roles. The company offers programs and incentives to keep people happy and motivated. Wages are very fair and are reviewed annually. The company is very coaching/training focused and prefers to promote from within whenever possible. The warehouse is very clean and organized; managers focus on safety which is rewarded through fun incentives. Although it has over 150 employees, it still has a family business vibe. People are respectful and friendly to each other and the company works hard to make people feel appreciated.

I have worked for several companies who have stated that they "allow room for advancement", but when the time came they didn't deliver.  Not once has anyone at New-Line ever held me back. When moments of opportunity arise and you apply yourself to the goals you set, the sky is the limit!  Plenty of room for growth here.  I walked through the doors of New-Line applying for a job almost 5 years ago, and have worked my way into a career path.  The owners and management teams have allowed me to become more than I once thought capable, and I am eternally grateful.  I can honestly see myself retiring with this company in several years.  All staff are treated with the same dignity and respect, no matter what job description you have.  Hands down, the best place of employment in my experience! 

I've really enjoyed working at New-Line as a customer service representative. Every day is busy and different, which keeps the job interesting. I learned a lot about the products, customer service, and working as part of a team.  Management is supportive and easy to talk to. If you need help, someone is always willing to help you. The workplace has a friendly atmosphere, and everyone works together. The busiest days can be challenging, but the teamwork makes it much easier. The best part of the job is the great people and the chance to learn something new every day. I would recommend New-Line to anyone looking for a positive place to work.

Felt lied to after the first months working with newline. Manager promised positive and cooperative community to get me to work for them but once I started I saw that was far from to truth. Colleagues acted very clique and often found myself criticized about appearance and personality type. People were always talking behind eachothers back and looking for excuses to throw one another under the bus. At the same time I witnessed others being made fun about race and appearance, being criticized by a  particular person in a crude and insensitive manner and even when bringing these issues up to the management they gaslight to keep their own hands clear of the mess the more critical employees create. Overall bad experience and wish I stepped away sooner to avoid the mental burnout that came with being apart of their drama.
