1. What started as a great opportunity turned into a mismanaged and mishandled work environment. Turnover is rampant, and it seems like management is a bit lost. 
2. They're always playing catch-up. The business seems like it is running out of ideas and slowly dying. 
3. The evaluations you get from your TL and managers are primarily negative and nitpicky. 
4. Day-to-day: Back-to-back calls and internal meetings 
4b. Constant nagging about numbers and making sure you're hitting KPI, even when you have no control over some metrics ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
5. Overall, generally a scary outlook for the long term for this company.

PRO: Good benefits and WFH. They are trying to change the culture and looking to improve.  

A good place to work as a health coach if you're a nutritionist. If your expertise lies in either wellness or exercise you won't get job satisfaction as they encourage you to predominantly talk about nutrition. Management is supportive and encourages you to learn but will also do relentless evaluations that can be discouraging at times. The hours are predominantly evenings and there was a lot of burnout for myself and others very early on with packed schedules. The benefits are great and free lunches on Mondays were a plus. Though, working remotely during the pandemic is nothing but stressful.

Newtopia is a great place to get your foot into the health and wellness industry. The company has a lot of young, energetic people and they really try to give you the best company experience and culture. This is a good opportunity for those just out of school/part time. 

However, the hours are very long and shifts are exhausting - you are expected to coach 150+ clients each day with little to no break. There is also a high turnover, low salary and no growth opportunities. Those with considerable work experience or education will find it hard to navigate.

Newtopia Inc. is an amazing place to have an introduction into the health industry. Co-workers turn into friends and make going into work enjoyable. 
As it is a start-up company, everything changes at a rapid and daily pace. You might not feel incredibly supported at this company and also experience some frustrations with the management team. It takes a lot for a problem to be resolved. But, they're learning, and it's getting better and things are starting to become more in-sync.

-Expect a lot of change, things are always changing at the company. 
-There are not many positions where you can get this much health coaching experience/access to work with so many clients from all different backgrounds. This has it's benefits (and also it's drawbacks--high volume coaching can be exhausting!) 

Really nice people all sharing the same values of trying to help individuals get healthy. Collaborative culture, supportive management team. You have to work hard but the work is recognized.

The people are fantastic and I love the mission of disease prevention. The challenge is we get overworked with calls. The lack of direction and future planning also sucks and there is not much chance of advancing in the company either or a pay raise.

Has a great concept and is cutting edge.  There is room to be apart of something that will grow in time.  If you are looking for a feel good kind of job, you certainly will as this is customer service based and you will be helping to change people's lives for the better.

I learnt a lot in this company and enhanced my test skills with automation and manual. My team is not too big. I worked with off shore developers and had a good experience with them too.

The people are friendly and helpful.  It is a laid back atmosphere. A lot of great benefits about working for this company. Still building processes to assure better business practices.
