Spent most of the day outdoors which was great for the summer. Was given extra break time indoors if the conditions were too hot to work in. Played baseball amongst the departments once weekly, which was great for getting everyone outside to enjoy the weather and socializing with other people they don't normally see throughout the work week. Managers were extremely nice and very helpful whenever employees had questions or concerns about their work

•	Updated audit events and findings records on SharePoint that provides a central storage and collaboration space for documents, information, and ideas (coordination of projects, calendars, and schedules, review documents or proposals…), for the QA department. 
•	Contributed to improve Nordion’s Quality Management efficiency by mapping Nordion’s processes for updating the new Electonic Quality Management System (EQMS)
•	Improved and practiced my audits skills by participating in some internal audits

Originally 18 years ego Nordion was a great place to work, with a lot of internally opportunities to advance and grow professionally, it was a growing company in a very fast pace, keeping its employees up to  day with new technology and training. Throughout the years all these philosophy started changing, with extremely aggressive cut backs and lay off in all working areas. Job security and life balance were lost

Stable industry with high barriers of entry for new players, quality process improvement driven culture with high degree of regulations. People are motivated. Unions on site. Lots of good programs to have fun together. Cafeteria on site. Free parking.

Toxic environment. A lot of interne conflicts. They don't value the potential of their employees. They don't listen their employees. They don't respect the CNESST laws. There lot of issues with the safety. 

Multiple projects given with poor direction on hierarchy of urgency as well as support on completion. 
Good employee moral overall
Company is seriously over managed creating a bureaucratic nightmare to complete required projects.

Great workplace culture and top management.   Opportunity to participate in a global business.  Great opportunities for personal growth.  Good work/life balance.  Employees are valued

You must have strong self management skills for this position. heavily regulated and it is your responsibility to get permits approved by department managers.

They have positives and negatives as do a lot of places, which you find after working for a company for quite a long time, as I did.
Growing and developing the Radiopharmaceutical business.

Good way to break into the industry pay is much less compared to other places in the industry. Lots of overtime depending on the time of year.
