A typical day will involve being on the phone answering or making outbound calls to patients. The call queue is almost always very high and the stress is always passed down to agents. It is important to be patient and able to distance yourself from upset patients, because most patients you speak to will probably be unhappy with some aspect of the service. 

The company is "a new start-up" despite being almost 3 years old at this point, and you will hear this excuse tossed around a lot as an explanation for the many pitfalls and shortcomings that you will be expected to find workarounds for in order to perform your job duties. Progress and improvement is extremely slow if it comes at all, and all of the problems of other departments will become yours because you are the only point of contact for patients. 

The workplace culture is a facade of friendship and family, but unless you are in with a few of the people in management, you will receive little or no help from anybody above your own pay grade. The actual day to day culture is one of extremely high pressure and platitudes as thanks. 

The hardest part of the job will be coping with the internal issues, even after you get past difficult patients and other aspects - those things are to be expected, but the internal problems that plague the company make it almost unbearable. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is the support you will receive from other Patient Care team members. People in your own pay grade will definitely support you and be there for you. It is the only positive thing I can say about the company.

You will quit within the first two weeks and if you survive you will probably be let go. The call centre is filled with a team that will support you and this will be as far as it goes. Management is non existent, they have zero idea on what they are doing and all the doctors are quitting or heavily cutting hours. Patients are in a call que for about an hour and there will be no more than 4 staff on phones at all times with 100s of unanswered emails. Patients are constantly negative to no surprise as doctors have not uploaded the prescription or signed it or sent it to their chosen producer. It’s a spiraling mess and competent staff are under immense pressure it is a ticking time bomb. Apply if you are competent will turn up everyday can handle extreme high levels of stress with sick and angry patients and enjoy working on your own because no one will help you as the rules change every single day. This is the job for you if you like apologising on every phone call and email! Benefits are great the wage is atrocious for the amount of work they make you do. And make sure you know someone high up before applying, that way you get special treatment.

I've never worked for such a poor "medical clinic". The manager from 2016-2017 was the WORST manager of all time. Very forgetful, non professional, and during staff meetings would inform MOA's lunch breaks are non existent.  Yet higher up staff are allowed breaks  (plentiful of smoke breaks and long lunch break). You are not required to have any medical background because it's not a real medical clinic. Be prepared to have physician assistant's that don't have a clue on what's going on. Be prepare to have management revoke your work right's instantaneously because you're being insubordinate. Do yourself a favour, find a real medical clinic that you can utilize your medical background in.

Uneducated, inexperienced management team. No chance for a pay increase. famous lines in that company is *2 weeks, change is coming, be patient this is a new company* all talk, no action.

Non transparent, at most clinics all the doctors quit within the first 6m to a year. Patients are treated like a number. Wait lists that are 10s of thousands deep with no intention to call anyone back, yet available appointments get released to the public.

If you want to be micromanaged, treated like a bottom feeder, get no appreciation this is the place for you. If not steer clear!

This company is so poorly run by people that have zero experience in the medical field.  The constant excuse was being a "start up" and improvements were always coming "in two weeks" - never happened.  Doctors were always fed up, the CA's were expected to limit their time with a patient to a few minutes max.  Unrealistic work load for clinicians and absolutely zero concern for the patient experience.  The only positive to this job were the great staff in the clinic and education centre.

Compared to most companies. Had a great experience. Enjoyed the job and  patients were mostly friendly when they called in. Its booming as number one in the medical cannabis industry. They provide adequate training and are thorough on by laws and the privacy and respect of there patients.

I've only been employed here for 7 months and have received two promotions.  Management seems to be upgrading the facilities with new chairs, updated the break room and nice big monitors. Lobby upgrades have been a huge improvement.  I just wish the hours were 4-10s, like my previous employment.

Love working in the industry. The company went from a start up to a corp very quickly in an ever changing industry I know  the company appreciates good  talent. Im in leadership and have witness a lot of good talent climbing the ladder. I love working here and the people and culture is very family like and supportive.

Very positive environment, a lot of freedom for creative growth opportunities,  Supportive and positive communication whenever a problem or complaint would arise. Fulfilling work, compassionate staff and management.

An exciting opportunity to be involved in an industry from the ground up.  Amazing benefits and great work/life balance.  The hardest part is the sharp learning curve and the constant changes.  The best part is helping people, occasional swag, and being part of this industry as it happens.
