They are a very closed community together and they do not welcome anyone new in. The company tries to act as if it is welcoming and happy to have everybody around, but it is all an act. HR can make anything happen even if your manager doesn't approve of it, they will side weirdly with someone on the wrong side of a situation. IT would randomly access your laptop while you are in a meeting presenting something even without your approval, they would take control of your mouse pointer and check something and that is a normal thing to happen for days at a time. You will be bad mouthed a lot if you're not from within their community, rumors run everywhere throughout this company. The employees there talk and discuss out of work matters much more than working, making it a very unsuitable office environment. Nature Fresh is 100% not accommodating, they will not care for whatever situation you've got going at home even if you have been with them for years from what I have heard by others there, all they care about is their work getting done. They claim that they are good with raises and such, but they are honestly the worst, doesn't matter how much work you get done, there will not be raises, but they will keep promising for something to happen the next year.

A typical day at Nature Fresh Farms involves fast-paced work in a clean and organized environment, especially in greenhouse or packaging roles. I learned a lot about sustainable agriculture, teamwork, and time management. Management is generally approachable and focused on efficiency, though communication could be improved at times. The workplace culture is diverse and hardworking, with a mix of local and international staff. The hardest part of the job is maintaining speed during peak seasons, which can be physically demanding. The most enjoyable part is working with fresh produce and being part of a company that values innovation and sustainability. It’s rewarding to see the impact of your efforts in real-time.

Management and HR really unhelpful.  the manager's communication skills were abysmal. Important instructions were often vague and contradictory, leading to confusion and frustration among the team. When approached for clarification or assistance, they displayed an astonishing lack of empathy, dismissing our concerns without a second thought. This utter lack of support left us feeling abandoned and helpless, struggling to meet unrealistic expectations.

The workplace itself was a breeding ground for stress. The constant pressure to meet unreasonable deadlines and achieve unattainable targets was detrimental to our mental and physical well-being. The manager, instead of acknowledging the mounting stress levels, only added fuel to the fire by piling on additional work without considering our existing workload or available resources


I go into work 5 days a week (8hours) with a couple hours every other Saturday. The pay is on the higher end compared to others in this town and we get a raise/bonus every year. 

I barely get phone calls after hours and most people I deal with in a day are very competent. 

I see people internally being promoted often

We have a company chef and it's only $5 per day for a fresh, hot meal. Also a lot of team building events throughout the year. (catered lunch every last Friday of the month, golf tournament, team dinners from time to time, every holiday is celebrated with treats or food, Christmas party, Summer Company BBQ, etc.)

Every job has stress but with the atmosphere of work that I had in the company and the help of individuals, the stress decreases.

The appropriate work environment and the general culture of the company are excellent

I do not work on a daily basis in the company, an employment contract. I work on a system of two working days and two days off. The working hours are long. In my job

This place is terrible. Managers and HR only care about themselves. They never listen to workers. Especially, the QC inspectors, they get the worst treatment. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, if you’re not one of their favourites, you get nothing. No respect, no thanks, just stress every day. The manager and HR make unfair decisions all the time. They also did an engagement survey recently but I’m sure they will do nothing about it. It was just a waste of time. Nothings going to change here. There’s so much turnover because of the manager’s biased promotions. The company is good but the QC department is so toxic here

They truly care about their people, inside and outside of the workplace.

The manager's behavior and leadership style were nothing short of horrible, causing immense frustration and dissatisfaction among the team. Despite numerous attempts to bring these concerns to the HR department's attention, they failed to provide any meaningful support or resolution. It was deeply disheartening to experience such a combination of a terrible manager and an ineffective HR department, ultimately leading to an extremely negative work environment.

The company’s culture and appreciation for its employees is above any other company I have worked for.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company is a 24 / 7 operation. It has grown and continues to grow. The volume of work is high and unfortunately there has been a lot of turnover.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is amazing. The people are amazing. The company likes to show its appreciation for its employees.

An incredible place to work, I felt comfortable every day going to do my job, the 2 supervisors I had were great, super friendly and excellent people, the few administrative employees that I met were always friendly and attentive to me.
Shifts are 12 hours, working 4 days straight and resting 4, you're always alone, but if that's not a problem for you then you'll be fine, it's really a quiet and safe place to work.
I left the job just because I had to move. The treatment they provide to the employees It is worth admiring, I would definitely work there again.
