My day starts with picking orders and usually ends up putting them on a skid.

I learned a lot from one of my co-workers to pick items that are at the same aisle at the same time to save time.

Management can be better, the manager is against music playing in the warehouse and often yells at people whenever any mistake is made. If he got annoyed at something, the manager will walk out and slam doors, which is not so professional.

As per the culture, co-workers are respectful, encouraging and always teach me new tricks so I can be more efficient.

The hardest part of the job is to lift heavy objects without assistance which happens occasionally. Another hard part as well is to have orders done the day order sheets are printed.

I enjoyed working there with the people I worked with.


Management acted like the work place was a high-school locker room. Constantly throwing things at employees.
The job was pretty straight forward and good work. Hard to make any head way with new customers because of the reputation the company had for on hands and pricing. Even the supplier reps went out of their way to not honour agreements or give price breaks. Hours were great, work load was more than manageable. Pay was less than promised.

Nedco was a great place to work. Early shift times meant a quick-moving day, with lots of productivity. Throughout the shift, customers were helped out with orders and product selection. Renovation, organization, and maintenance of the store counter and product storage area was key during the shift, as a reopening was set to happen.

I usually hit the floor running which I love. I would say the hardest part of my job is getting everything done in the time I have each day. Something always comes up and so a new way to prioritize is a constant challenge. The most enjoyable part of my job is the crew I work with. We do our job in a fun atmosphere.

Horrible work place!!!! When they have used and abused you for so long and you are no longer fitting there agenda bye bye. A great place to be micromanaged. Spit in your face by t managers accused of sabotage of the company. And it just goes on and on. Don't ever work for this company ever trust me. If you do be prepared for a screw job. 

Excellent organization, very reputable, excellent opportunity for anyone looking to get into supply chain or logistics, software was a little dated, but excellent company.

Flexibility for work requirements to maximize the capacity of your abilities. Emphasis on personal relationship as basis for customer satisfaction. Flexibility between independence of worker and supervisory support when needed.

Management had staff give false information to customers about product availability and would make customers wait for products.  Orders would be taken, then cancelled, and then reordered to get to online order targets.  

Good system with interbranch transfers. Excellent product training arranged by the vendors. Good inventory. Good delivery service. Always busy with contractor sales.
