As the former Marketing Coordinator for New-Life Mills, I had the privilege of working with a talented and passionate group of people. My role touched on all areas of marketing from planning and project management to managing the website, producing sales resources and planning strategic events.

This is a company which holds onto the traditional values of agriculture while embracing new technology, new ideas.

Stakeholder buy and good communications skills are important for the role. Listening and acting on the unique needs of each business unit will be a key to success.

I left because the needs of the company and my career goals no longer aligned. That being said I would work there again and recommend New-LIfe Mills for an entry-level to mid-level marketer willing to work hard and put to use a variety of skills.

1st thing is * Do not work here *  Its a very old plant which was recently automated and they are having severe problems with the integration of very old machinery and new automation. They want you to work long hours and be on call 24/7, they pay if you if you are called in but insist that you are on call 24/7 without any form of compensation. The plant is very dirty and has rodent issues. The operators are always complaining that the systems don't run correctly. There is a poor management culture with a total lack of communication from them. If you want to work in a dirty, old broken plant with no support or help from the people upstairs then please work here. There was no training or coaching during my time there. Typical day was long, tiring and sometimes stressful.

DO NOT WORK HERE!!! This place is a cancer to human beings.  The management abuse you and treat there workers horrible. There management is the WORST I've ever worked for there conniving and they lie to the workers they never communicate properly they take no responsibility for mistakes and always blames there employees. Moral is always down with the workers and lots of complaints. Dirty. Old equipment poor maintenance.

My day isn't exactly routine.  Constantly changing with the demands of incoming and outgoing product and customers.  Inspection of equipment and product is ongoing.  My co-workers are some of the best.

I got the job from a friends father who was in need of help for a week, mostly just helping milwrights with prep work and some painting. most enjoyable part of the job was working with my hands being in a new area of work.

Great place to work I kinda wish I could have got a transfer to the Inkerman Ontario location since my wife wanted to move to Ottawa to be closer to her family great place miss it working there

friendly easy going people to work with some benefits after a certain length of time. Try to accommodate any time off for vacation. while medical appointments easily accommodated.

I worked here many years, and the last bunch of years has gone downhill fast, from top to bottom no one cares about their job anymore due to management. if they don't care why would the workers

Worked as a co-op student while studying at the university of Guelph. Worked with many different people across many different departments on a daily basis.
