I was only able to work with them for 45 days only for a shutdown job. A typical day at work is always fast pace since shutdown work is only for a limited time. Management was very well handled and our quality team always manage to work well with each other. The hardest part of the job is keeping up in supporting with construction personnel that is always in a hurry of completing the work to catch up with the construction schedule.  The most enjoyable part of the job are the rotational free lunches that will be provided by each member of the team. The team or co-workers are all easy to deal with where normal jokes are thrown at each other quite often and laughter is always present during breaks. 

Coordinate with Chief Safey about scope of work for day
Bump test monitors and prepare air/work packs for day
Coordinate safety for work areas and ensure air trailers and proper equipment is in place and working properly
Conduct Safety meeting and assign daily work for day to safey watch staff
Monitor and relieve staff for breaks
Collect daily reports and file paper work
permit writing
hazzard assessments
investigating near misses and incidents
best part of day was the end in TA season
Meeting a new group of contractors daily

Room to advance your career . Staff is supportive and I enjoyed working with everyone.

My days went by quickly. There is always something to keep you busy.

Working at NEWCART is really great 
They do lots of Refineries/Gas plant Shutdown work 
They have great tool cribs great for PPE as well
The pay is great 
Too bad they don’t get much jobs for maintenance but it’s a really competitive market especially since the oil crash 2015 
So not their fault 
It’s a fast paced environment, so you gotta be ready for work when you show up in the morning

Horrible management, accusatory tone,
Zero communication and all favouritism

The main supervisor on site hired his niece for a lead safety role who had no time in the field no experience and no tickets to support training for this role 
But because he had been there soooo long they let him

It’s a terrible work life and awful mental state of mind

Great guys to work with.  Never a problem having a good, safe and fun work day.

Have their hands in a lot of pots thanks to great ownership with a great mind for business.

Manager is a bit difficult at times, likes to tell people outside the business that he is part owner and takes credit for other peoples work and ideas.

Awesome company! Great safety culture, knowledgeable management, and overall friendly working environment. They don’t put you in unsafe situations, and your input in a task’s completion is always taken into consideration.

I would work for them as long as they need me I've enjoyed working for them for years and a busy fast-paced environment safety is first and appreciated looking after tools is a necessity along with a fellow worker I would work for them again and again

good company to work for. I worked for this company for several years doing maintenance and shut downs. I was hired as a pipefitter and structural welder that also did tower internal maintenance on shut downs and its a great company to work for and they pay was great. I was receiving 40$ per hour.

Company is fair, paid on time, easy to get along with, Has a major drug and alcohol problem. Poor control of drugs etc getting into camp and on other job sites
