if you're in an area where you don't have access to a company warehouse(where hardware and promotion material are kept) be ready to store a lot to hardware and promo material at your own expense. You're expected to do a great deal of training and weekly meetings, mistakes are not tolerated well. Although, this is for good reason. Most programs are national campaigns for different clients and execution should be exact in each store,with little variance. You're only paid the bare minimum,and there is a lot expected of you while on the job. There's always changes you have to keep up with, due to miscommunication or time delay. This job can be very convenient if you need a flexible schedule and like working on your own. You only have weekly deadlines to adhere to and the request of your manager. Management is good and are usually there to help, if you do work for this company, make a good relationship with your manager and make them aware of when you don't know how to do something. Miscommunications are more easily fixed before , rather than after the program is completed.

The huge perk of this job was being able to make my own schedule within store hours. This was changing tiward the end of my time there when they wanted work dobe withing certain hours. You travel to various retailers to assemble advertising, priduct audits, and add new products (cut ins). Great relationships with retailers while representing major product lines/companies. 

The negatives, however, are many. There is little to no room for growth, pay raises small and few, no education, no coworker socialising unless you are in a large centre, etc. You do not get to meet your coworkers outsude occaisional zoom pep talks where people rehash the same things over and over and over. . Some coworkers looking to expand their territory will sabotage your stores claiming your advertising is not up (they will remove...or sometimes it is damaged/removed organically...claiming your job was not done)...true story.

Overtime is expected but not compensated! They were passively forcing people to work through their breaks/lunches and do overtime without saying anything. Many of the employees had just gotten used to not being able to finish their work in the alotted amount of time. Nobody had enough time for themselves, which lead to an incredibly individualistic culture.
Upper management is inept and have no people skills which forces area managers into staffing problems regularly.
Wake up! When you have staff turnover in the hundreds- you are not effectively running a business. Female employees are looked down on and this company wants them to have no voice.
This company has no conscience or moral compass and that is the nicest thing I can say.

A great job if you are retired, need an extra part time job or a student.
You have a great manager to walk you through the system and training is fairly straight to the point.  
I loved my territory because it was so close to home, I went on my own time and always finished by the Friday 4pm deadline. 
The hourly rate could improve , you do get paid drive time and for prepping your materials so it can add up. 
You go to Shoppers, Rexalls and Loblaw/No Frills and place coupons and banners at the indicated locations on your tablet.  

The biggest issue I did not like is driving to the storage locker and loading up my car with boxes of materials and equipment.

It was a good job until they switched from a per-task pay model to hourly.  I was very quick and efficient at my job, so could make decent money. They also used to deliver the coupons/banners to our home, but then switched to everything going to a communal storage unit.
The final straw was finding out new employees were being paid $1 an hour more than me, and they not only refused to match it, they threatened to fire the person who told me what they were making. 

Travel across country supervising the supervisors and training the staff for sales with a Costco environment.
Each province had different rules and regulations and all must be met within the province.
Assisted me when needed and good to work with
Dedicated staff whose objective was to succeed. Fun to be with.
Long hours with too much to accomplish
Increased business from a $4K business to a $15K business in 5 years

-You drive to the required grocery stores in your determined areas and place marketing equipment and publications for major companies. 

- You have a whole week to make sure you complete all your stores for that week and there are a list of instructions and policies to follows.

- Income was inconsistent and not dependable.

- However, traveling time and costs are paid for, for a certain amount of months.

- Solo job, work on your own.

The company has lots of clients but there are fewer each year.  So this means less hours and pay.  On top of that they have less chain stores that they are authorized to visit.  If Loblaws says no to them then they are done in Canada.  Safeway/Sobeys, Co-op, Canadian Tire are all gone as stores to visit.  Do not recommend working here as the company is for sale by the parent company.

Not abnormal to work 12 hour days to try to keep afloat
I believe their motto is do more with less.  More work with less peiple and no compensation to those taking in nore work. Most people are feeling overworked and micro managed

This Career reguired that on many occasion I was travelling visiting many Department stores , supervising Product Demonstratores. I first started as a Product demonstrator and enjoyed the interaction with customers. Very much enjoyed traveling to different locations and meeting with public and getting feed back for products demonstrated.
