I have been very happy with my employment with the Niagara Clifton Group. The first 4 years I was a full time employee. The hardest part of the job was (for me) the stock. Being that the buildings on Clifton Hill are old and not very user friendly for getting stock from one store to the other. However, once we get the stock there it certainly makes the day go fast. 
The spring and summer months are hectic but enjoyable. You meet customers from around the world. You are busy from the day the store opens, cashing customers out, keeping stores tidy i.e. by putting everything back in their proper places and replenishing the product. 
I am fortunate enough to work with a group of people that work very well as a team.
Currently the owner has put up signs on his properties indicating that he would be open to leasing. This is what has prompted me to apply elsewhere for another part time job.

The work hours were fair at 40 hours per week.  Typical day would be sorting floats, processing each sales department, balancing the money, making floats, processing sales paperwork, data entry, sales auditing.  Office conditions were fair.  Management were leaders and would be willing to help.  I learned counterfeit detection and using data entry as well as sales auditing.  The hardest part of the job was finding a mistake that was made, but the job and environment itself was all enjoyable.  I really enjoyed my time with Niagara Clifton group.

Upper management is fantastic, wouldn’t wish anything bad on them. Coworkers in the one restaurant didn’t like that I was telling upper management about the stuff they would do or let others get away with. Management also shows favouritism towards staff by allowing them to get away with things. Customers are extremely rude and degrading especially if it’s a simple mistake that can be fixed (even if the problem is out of your control). It can be a great place to work, and a great place to interact with other people and meet new friends.

This was one of the more fun jobs I’ve had and room for advancement was awesome I loved the fact that we were never put at only one attraction and we were able to learn all positions. Myself I crushed it at ticket booth making paydays that much better. The staff was great and the managers and assistant managers were easy to talk to and I had a great experience at my place of work daily. They were understanding to my home life and gave me the support  I needed 

While the staff was really pleasant to work with, the hours are ridiculous and closing protocols are super unfair and often hold people later than anticipated. Customers are rude and ignorant, as expected in such a field. Summers are fast paced and challenging, which is good for those who like to keep busy. Off season is the polar opposite. Overall, not a place to work at if you want to have time for yourself because availability is more times than less not respected. 

Made one person feel guilt about needing personal time off suddenly, going so far as to use the reason against them. Made another person cry by telling them something horrible they should’ve kept to themselves. Made the very young AM say a lot of terrible things to people so they wouldn’t need to get their own hands dirty. Co-workers were mostly awesome, management and HR was an embarrassment. Would absolutely never recommend it. 

At least 2 managers there, having non- professional relationships with their staff. Operations Manager turns a blind eye, and they are allowed to get away with it because they are favourites. Very detrimental atmosphere and attitudes with the higher ups. Expected to be 100% all the time when the treatment of staff is not pleasant.

Working in the heart of the tourist area. Niagara Falls has so much to offer to the tourist. Our work culture here at NCR is all about service excellence and raising the bar on each other.

The hardest part of my job is that I have to lay off so many people because of the seasonality of the area that we work in.

Fun place to work great bosses and staff, good employee incentives. Free passes to yjjr attractions. Uniforms supplied. Great staff discounts. Overall a great place to work

Great place to work during the busy season. Off season is slow you can't make the same commission so your paycheck takes a big hit. Management is great co-workers are nice and helpful. I love working here.
