Niagara Long Term Care

Morale is low, wage is okay, workers on the floor are mostly burnt out but they do care for the patients. Employees respond to change with a lot of push back only because their concerns about certain issues fall on deaf ears most of the time. Surprise surprise. There is also a significant divide between floor workers due to some sort of animosity. Management is okay but untrustworthy so watch your back. I won't trust the positive reviews here either and notice that every negative review has atleast 2 dislikes (probably from the management). Expansion is coming soon, just hoping managers can be replaced.

One of the best long term care facilities in the region and the credit goes to the dedicated and compassionate team. The management not only takes care of their residents but equally fare and appreciate the staff. 
It is a fun to be part of the team and every day is a new learning experience. The environment here is stress free and respectful. Each and every member of the team is valued and taken care of. 

Ltc can be very busy however staff are friendly and work collaboratively most of the time to get everything done and take care of the residents with pride. We will have special events and themed days involving both residents and staff which are fun and everyone enjoys. 

lots of gossip and negativity in all areas that trickles down from the top, never feel appreciated, 
management sticks to their offices and do not take complaints seriously,

favours are done for favourites only
staff with poor work ethic are never bothered while the good ones are not appreciated or theyre looked at as hard to handle by the lazy ones

Management is approachable and works with staff when they have concerns or need advice.  The staff are friendly and always help each other out.  Management values family and are always accommodating to the best of their abilities.  

It's a good home to work for, most of the staff are nice. Management is supportive they listen and are encouraging. Workplace culture is what YOU make it. The lens that you look though determines your attitude and will determine your degree of success. Of course there are hard days. Not bad, but busy days. 

The agency I work with was able to get me accommodations and a higher salary pay, while also filling in the shortages they had on the unit.

The people seem friendly and the work is fair 

I recommend working at NLT to anyone it's the best long term care home I've ever stepped foot in. Working with this company was amazing everyone was pleasant and the hours are there if you want them 

Terrible place to work. The company cares more about saving money and making money and to do that they work their employees to the point that physical injuries happen and the employee can no longer do their jobs.
