I’ve had the opportunity to advance my career significantly in just 1.5 years, which speaks volumes about the company's commitment to professional development.

Working at National Cable Specialists has been the best decision I have made in my life. The entrepreneurial and family culture is second to none. You are recognized for your hard work and there is room for career advancement (I am proof of it). National Cable Specialists continued to invest in it's people through formal education programs as well as long term sustainable growth through business through investments in facilities and inventory in order to enter new markets and capture greater market share in existing markets. A focus on solid vendor and customer relationships has always also been important. I am proud to work for this private company who values it's employees.

People really care about each other here! In the 4 years that I have spent here I have seen the business grow along with the people, we have Team Building events which has brought us closer as a Team.

We care about each person individually and understand that they other commitments outside of work.  The one thing we thrive on here is communication and adaptability,   we make sure everyone is set up to succeed and not fail, whether it's proper training and making sure you understand your role or helping out your colleagues if need be.

I highly recommend this company for anyone who wants a good balance between work and family! 

A physically demanding but rewarding job that keeps you fit, though it can be tiring sometimes. The managers are supportive, easy to talk to, and make you feel comfortable if you’re struggling. Being the only girl in the warehouse was intimidating at first, but the guys went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The team is amazing to work with, and the workplace culture is positive and supportive. While the work can be tough on the body, the sense of accomplishment and the great team make it worthwhile!

Overall had a great experience working at Noramco Edmonton. Due to conditions outside of my control I had to move otherwise I would have stayed. The warehouse staff was friendly and great to work with. Cross training allowed for new challenges rather than same redundant days at other places I have worked. Management was always approachable when engaged and flexible when I had to discuss a change in hours. 
Overall a great experience and I would revisit employment if I move back to the area.

Typical day at work is busy with clients but tends to be boring and repetitive as sales cycles can be very short. I learned strong communication and efficiency, independence and self-motivation, relationship management and gained valuable product knowledge and expertise.

Management is steady but lacks clear communication with employees about company decisions and company direction. Employee support in sales processes could improve with more in depth sales analyses and suggestions.

I loved working at Noramco. I would have stayed forever if I could. The people are great, the hours and flexibility are so accommodating. Great work life balance. The kind of job you can wash your hands of at the end of the day and not worry about it. Very low stress. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Great pay and benefits.

This employer pays poorly, expects great things out their employees while not giving a lot in return.have a profit sharing program But reallyis just an wage adjustment. Safety is not a priority      
here particular in a proactive Way

Must be able to stand extreme dusty conditions.  Work goes well as long as you are buddies with warehouse mgr.
Wire cutting is primary job but there may be other tasks as required.  
Cutting machines are dated and not the safest to use
Overtime is available but very erratic and you only get to leave when warehouse mgr says so.

Noramco has gone through a massive change over the last 5 years. From upper management to Branch operations they have ramped up to be one of the biggest players in wire and cable. With nothing but opportunity in the short and long term a career with Noramco is something you will be happy to have on your resume.
