Worked so hard for the company, was never trained properly, never allowed to go to any advanced training GoAuto offered saying there was no one to cover shifts, when they would let others leave. Even doctors appointments for my kids had to be cancelled, even though I would try and make them at more convient times (extending lunch, or toward or beginning of days). Ultimately was fired because management lost an account and needed a fall guy. I don’t understand how they even spun that to corporate that it was my fault, since it was above my head to make the decisions they needed to make to save that account. 
I was often the only counter person people would deal with, so my work load was more then I could handle, while the rest of the team was in the back watching videos on their phones, or talking about videos games. My sales were often 5 times what the person in the desk next to me would sell in a day. My stress levels were through the roof, while no one seemed to notice or care that there would be lines up waiting on the phone, not willing to take a message for me, or help in any standard business way. I was alone on a 6 person crew. It was ridiculous. The one time I went above their head for help I got in so much trouble I was almost fired. 
They often refused to deal with anything that was a managers job, like billing issues, accounting problems, large accounts wanting to negotiate better pricing, or approach corporate about things they obviously needed help with, but were afraid the big guys would realize how inept they were. There were constant emails sent out about employee expectations, but the only team member that was breaking the rule on the emails was the assistant manager. 
They forgot about vacation time I had booked months in advance and we’re upset at me for it, even though I was so excited I couldn’t stop talking about it.
The culture of the entire company was: if your a part of the cool crowd, you’ll be fine. It’s just like high school.

Get in and check if vehicles are ready for appointments and checking customer parking. Learnt how to be more patient and realize what not just customers but anybody wants or needs. The culture was kept everybody close together and taught me how to help many people out in a little amount of time. The hardest part of this job was organizing parts or your day accordingly such as appointments, having a delivery rest and making cold calls. The most enjoyable part of the jib by far was the amount of interaction I got to do with people and the amount of people I got the chance to meet.

I very much enjoyed my role as Service Advisor at Norden VW. Customer Service was at the forefront as well as being detail oriented and effectively communicating with customer and Techs both orally and written. Fast paced environment and the shop was always clean and professional.

Working at Norden Volkswagen was great because I was able to get payed for talking about vehicles all day. The sales team was full of amazing, hard working people who were devoted to giving the customer the best possible purchasing experience.

loved some of the people I worked with and helping clients find vehicles that fit their lifestyle and passions. Did not love the oppressive behaviours of some folks in management, the time expectation and the lack of accountability

Work was great when it was coming into the shop. When times got slow, work wasn't rolling in as steady. Management favors techs putting out more work over other techs that have better quality of work.

This was a fun place to work with a good team mentality, and a tight knit group of people. The pay in other departments was on par with the average but in Parts it was lower than other dealerships.

Being a Lot Attendant at Norden Volkswagen is a great time. The people are naturally very nice and are always there to help. Sales management are very helpful and nice people.

Very fast paced. Sombody new to the industry would not excel in this cutthroat environment. Commisson based sales only but over all the management team make it a fun place to work
