Since the previous director of ops left this company is an actual disaster. Neither of the existing managers actually know how to do any of the work, but constantly making their employees feel like they aren't doing enough. The company has cut around 8+ office staff since last spring so literally everyone is operating at max capacity and stress levels. Yet sales are comparatively down so they consider the company "over staffed", which disregarding a lot of the work done by the office (especially customer service and post care) aren't driven by the current volume of sales. They fire people without warning or cause. Management does not actual managing or coaching of anyone. They are extremely numbers driven but the numbers are arbitrary. If you point out what a toxic work environment it is, you're the problem. A lot of the front line workers are amazing humans, but everyone is on the cusp of a mental breakdown and management doesn't care. Management is petty and personal and all need to take a course in professionalism (and honestly, also a business course). Everyone is working unpaid overtime

This was definitely the worst work place I had ever been employed at it's a place that doesn't care about you only about production numbers. where the only kinds of people who climb the ranks are those who are willing to lie and do whatever mangers ask when they ask it regardless of what your being asked is safe, appropriate, or adding more stress to your already overwhelming work load.  Anytime I tried to ask management about a question or concern I had they would give me an answer that clarified nothing and made me feel like they where just trying to get me to go away.  Not only that but members of management had blatantly lied to my face on numerous occasions about things I was genuinely concerned about. The one redeeming quality about my experience here was the free lunches and the fact that it was easy to get employed here the only requirement here is two feet and a heartbeat.  I urge anyone looking for work to take more time and put in the extra effort to find a workplace that actually values there employees and isn't looking for someone to lie or cheat when they ask

Has it's challenges like any workplace but the earning potential for a sales rep is extremely high if you are willing to put the work in.

Management and overall operation systems have improved in my time there and continue to improve rapidly.

For a sales rep the amount of leads and marketing spend is very high which can be challenging but technology as been and continues to be developed to help organize and grow.

Sales team cheers for one another and is supportive of one another. There is no toxic culture between sales members and we support each other always. Lots of people willing to help. Management works just as hard as sales reps to support and grow.

Growth mindset comes with challenges but improvements are rapid.

It is a company that cares about it's people and the customer but they do demand a lot from employees. Hard work, high reward. We work hard to take care of the customer no matter what.



I've been at Nordik for a while now, and I think it's important to give a realistic look at what it's like to work here from the inside. 
There is a "no-nonsense" approach to work, but it's backed by a ton of support. There is a real emphasis on doing things the right way. 
It's much easier to be happy at work when you actually believe in what you're selling. The quality, and value  of the products we produce and sell give us a huge edge. 
The pace is fast, but the energy in the office is good! This company will make you grow in ways you didn't think possible if you're willing to put in the work. It's a place for doers - if you show up and take ownership of your job, you're going to thrive here. 

Hybrid job, 2 days a week, it's worth the 2 days coming into office as you get to socialize and enjoy free lunch on the company. No need to bring yours. The job is very creative and collaborative, there is room for growth as the management have the knowledge of design tools. There are constant meetings to see how you are doing and if help is needed, raises are available too as I got one myself. There are sometimes much needed deadlines for work but you get plenty of time to do them.  Overall I love working for Nordik so far.

The pay and time off isn't even worth the toll this job takes on your mental health. The service coordinators are literally being told off and yelled at by customers all day because Nordik's products and service are so terrible. Management is about numbers. You can work your tail off and hit all your targets, but that still isn't good enough for them. 

Although the job is TERRIBLE, the employees at the Mississiauga office are AMAZING to work with, super helpful and understanding when you are having a rough day with all the angry customers.

60 hour work weeks and a weekly berating (also known as a sales meeting)

and I was a top 5 performing rep.

You will not get paid the commission you make here. Meaning, on paper your income will be far greater than what you will get paid. 

(and it will be late - sometimes by months)

Unless you already know everything there is about windows do not bother, there is no sales support past 1 week on the road and you will be insulted for asking after that.

This company sucks as far as service companys go product is designed to fail ... management is awful no room for growth no job security company will drop you without good reason you can give 110% and company will never appriciate you over worked and under paid organization for operations is a mess will have verbal abusive customers calling in everyday and management does nothing to fix the issues or assist company filled with empty promises to both staff and customers do not apply

The pay was fair but management works out of different offices so you never get to meet anyone if you have a job that doesn’t bring you to office everyday.  There is no warning about how you are doing and will let you go at anytime for any reason if your not meeting a certain number of markers they want you to hit
They are purely number driven with no care for the human element 

Stressful, after a few weeks of being there you will be told nothing you do is enough and work is long hours, 9 hours a day. Only way to meet deadlines is if you don’t take your breaks. You will go home with work still on your mind. Company is lacking communication and needs more employees so people are not so stressed and customers can be better taken care of.
