What is the best part of working at the company?
As a designer, you get to understand construction processes and furniture fabrication , also working with few good guys on the shop floor. with beautiful environment to work. beautiful office spaces and workstation

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of proper training is a major issue for me , everyone seems to be focused on what they are doing and lowkey waiting for your downfall which i find really ridiculous.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work culture is ok, nothing fantastic

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not a good one though, probably because i have to drive 45min everyday, sometimes i get to work really tired.

The culture at Norelco is about who you know, not what you know. Seniority doesn't mean much. I will say however the quality there is top notch. Shifty things going on in management though, and with several rounds of layoffs ( the first of which I was caught in) they must have fallen on hard times.
There are great people there, lots of skills and talent but be careful who you stand up to.

Very busy position scheduling service and new installs.
I learned how to juggle numerous things at once and deal with on the spot scheudling changes. Everyone was grreat to work with.
Numerous changes at the last minute from contractors, production etc. I enjoyed working with all of the builders and had a great relationship with all of them.

A fantastic team who is very driven, passionate and is a pleasure to collaborate with. The craftsmanship, talent and level of skill in the building is very admirable and there is a lot of growth advancement throughout the company. It's a pleasure to work with a company who not only produces high quality and extremely beautiful products and works of art, but a company that enjoys being there in creating it. Strong management team!

I found projects to be completely disorganized, management was hands off, and the pay/responsibility ratio out of sync.

The people were pretty grumpy, and newcomers were alienated. I experienced it myself, and watched it happen to others that started after me.

This was 5 years ago though, so I hope the overall atmosphere has changed.

a fast paced job with production and quality as the end result. management always tried hard to put problems and issues to rest quickly. teamwork is a must for this job. I appreciated that ideas of anyone were considered if it helped to assure a better end product. your opinion mattered. 

Shop supervisor was great and the guys in the millwork dept. know what they are doing.  High energy and willingness to do your part is necessary in production. You also need a lot of patience for CNC operators mistakes and the supervisor of CNC has no cabinet experience so he doesn't really understand what he is doing.

The work is interesting and creativity is encouraged. The people are professional and I am learning new things almost every day. I enjoy working for this company and I'm glad I got the opportunity to be apart of this team.

okay work environment. If you get along your colleagues, its a bonus. Otherwise work is sometimes interesting, and sometimes boring. Just like any other job. I had a great manager. (can't name names, unfortunately) 

I loved my job at Norelco and would go back to norelco again if a position came up   Great people to work with and overall a good place to work for  Management is also very good at what they do!! 
Definitely a job I will miss
