I chose to work with NLT over other competing dealerships because of their training process and overall youthful environment. It's not necessarily that the employees are young, but that the interactions and positive environment feels spirited. I can honestly say that everyone who works here is unique with their personality which creates an enjoyable working environment. This job and the people I work with is the exact opposite of what you view through media of the typical car salesman. It genuinely feels like the employees want to help customers find the right car.

What I like best is that I'm able to be myself, express my opinions, and offer customers the best option for them, without feeling like I let someone down on the business end. This starts with the training process where I was able to start with no experience in the field of automotive sales, and still have continuous feedback with an open-door policy which has helped me to grow. This training process and encouragement allows for vehicle knowledge to be communicated to the customer. In this sense, I do feel like an advisor for clients, rather than a salesperson. Everyone feels to be part of a team and of a similar friend group where you don't feel left out and it's powered by real collaboration.

Because of all this, since day one, I have never felt that dreaded feeling of having to go to work. I wake up and want to go to work because it's that sense of spending time with friends.

I am grateful to be part of this team and represent a great product.

 Parts, Service and Accounting managers only communicate to behind employees backs. Not quietly either, have overheard many judgemental conversations about employees personal lives and work ethic.

Female sales dress very provocative, and the sales men seem to love it makes you very uncomfortable. Sales mangers are just as bad as it’s a team of men. 

 Do not value employees what so ever even when you are a hard working employee. Pay is minimal when you do work there, and when the fire you they don’t pay out severance and continue to fight you on how it’s not owed to you. 

Take money off your pay for coffee/cream/sugar that is used for customers, just want to take money from their employees and put it in to the company. 

No care for family issues or personal problems outside work. Expect to work hard for nothing in return. 

Never seen a place have so much employee turnover, once you realize the environment you don’t want to work there. 



If you’re looking for a fun workplace then this is not the place. If you’re looking for a place with leadership, this is not the place. 


Some of the worst management ever. Only care about themselves and gang up on employees. 

One of the highest turn over rates for employees and even take money off your paycheque to supply coffee/cream/sugar for customers. Which is absolutely absurd. 

Would recommend staying as far away from this place as you can. Save yourself the headache of dealing with children for management. 

Managers are gossipy and like to micro manage, watch you on cameras 24/7 fron their offices. theres maybe 6 amazing people in the dealership; The rest will sell you out for a paperclip, or less. So much unnecessary drama in the service department for no reason. Also charge you bi-weekly for coffee that is in the main lobby that customers drink. 

If you are looking for a fun and enjoyable place to work, this is NOT the place.  While it may seem like a great facility, upper management has zero interest in the service department.   Huge turnover is due to a low employee morale.  The owner/GM spends all of his time in the sales department and is absent when it comes to the parts and service department. 

A role that consistently rewards the effort you put in. Leadership recognizes hard work, and there is clear alignment between performance and advancement. Workload can be demanding at times, but the acknowledgment and support provided make it a strong environment for those who are motivated and accountable.

Management only cares about bottom line and money in their pocket. Little concern for consistency in training and mentoring of new employees. EVERYONE talks smack behind others backs (both about each other and about customers). Very unprofessional environment. Hostile workplace to say the least.

North london has kind management and fair pay, the shop has friendly staff and constant work. Coming into this industry this was a fantastic place to start the techs here want to help and want you to succeed.

Watch out for the  lady upstairs, her position has gone way too far to her head, this place is great if you love cliques from high school. Most of the managers don’t wanna get involved with the politics and if you do say something your shunned. 

Working at North London Toyota was a good experience.
However, customers are hard to please and management needs some serious re-vamping. Great people, but higher up staffing needs to be seriously evaluated.
