I was told different things by different supervisors/managers. I wasnt told when a meeting was postponed or cancelled. work schedule were givin out every sunday and not posted online so you had to go into the casino to pick up a hard copy. and before you picked one up you had to let security know that you were entering into the casino to pick up a schedule... however on my last day another supervisor told me i can just walk into the casino anytime i wanted and just pick one up without notifying security... so again mixed messages... job duties extended well beyond what was asked and servers and coworkers did little to help out in the training process... my job shadow was distant and expected me to know where everything was without telling me anything... when i took a 30 minute lunch break i was told that that privillage does not extend to dishwashers and 15 minute breaks every two hours was optional for the employer to give... i was a casual employee and was offered one shift a month... people thought i had quit at times or had forgotten who i was at times lol... but overall the coworkers were the most amazing part of this job experience... super friendly staff and if givin enough hours the pay would have been good enough to put up with the nonsense.

I enjoyed my time with them. I learned the basic skills needed in the kitchen before deciding to continue on with my first and second year in the trade. Management was awesome and easy to talk to. My co-workers were fun to be around and easy to work with. The most enjoyable part about the job was payday...as the wages were great for a learner with not much experience to start

This is a poorly managed business to work for. Whether it's the kitchen staff not washing their hands or management dumping their duties on supervisors. Wouldn't be one bit sad to see this place burn to the ground. If you don't mind working with drug addicts then I guess you'll do fine. You can't feel good knowing your paycheque comes from ruining lives and families.

I was casual but was always offered extra hours. I worked mainly on the main floor of the casino with a float and would serve drinks. I also worked in the smoking area which is more of the busy area and tight spaced with many people to attend to. At some time I would work the bar tending area and general cleaning duties. Time flies when it was busy on the weekends.

It was a awesome work place with friendly and supportive co workers to work with and company to work for. Pretty busy on paydays for us custodian workers, but we get the job done.The hardest part of the job is working graveyard shifts and then getting your shift changed to mornings. the most enjoyable part of the job is meeting new people and enjoyed working for a company that hires me.

we all had a schedule to follow for everyone we all started in one specific area, then we rotated every half hour. I personally learned to ride the riding vacuum, which I didn't have the experience before and enjoyed it. Enjoyed the staff, fun filled family style. Worked as team but got along as a family, a lot of communication which helped a lot.

Best to keep to your tasks. then you'll be able to finish on time.

It is a great positive fast paced place to work.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Getting all my tasks done on time and have time to do different task.

Morning shifts started off with cooking soup for the buffet, and start prepping for breakfast, and cooking on the line for breakfast and lunch rushes. 
Buffet shift started off with cooking food for the buffet line.
Coworkers were very professional and supportive, we would help each other out if we needed help.

The duration of employment was enjoyable and a learning experience. The workplace gives you flexible shifts and possibility for advancement with a structured guideline to familiarise yourself with the culture and its people.

It was just ok for me. No advancement though wasn't great, or huge raises were few and far between. Co workers were awesome. But the restaurant food wasn't good, and other departments seemed snobby. I really enjoyed working with the public,  and hope my time was memorable for some patrons.
