Work was never the problem, the company was great to work for. The problem was the supervision started playing us off against the other shift and giving bad feedback as to productivity. This may have been my  department only, as I really enjoyed working there, till international politics (china) ruined it.

This was more demanding as everything about the job had to be perfect.  Things have changed and this product is not made any more.. not that I know of
Enjoyed the people and the atmosphere

I worked there from 1976-1993 when they closed the plant and shipped it to another country. Was sad to see it go,  met many nice people and made lifelong relationships..

As this was my first job I learned how to be a team player and work with a different array of people.  The hours were very long but the pay was good.  My co-workers were all great to work with and when we had a problem there was always someone to talk too.

Northern Telecom was a very good place to work. The atmosphere was positive with team building as a natural part of the job. In this industry, there were many interesting machines to work on including robots and hydraulics.

Most of the work in the field of PBX - communications. A very useful experience to be useful later-on.

This company was the beginner of Nortel Networks Corporation. This company grew fast. Employees' compensation increased fast too. Working load was heavy, but everybody was happy.

When I worked there many years ago the comapny was globally no 4. Today it is bancrupt and does not exist anymore

Was one of the best companies to work for in the world. Very professional environment.

was so resourceful place, a dynamic comfortable work place. a people oriented environment , that made productivity extremely high..
