A typical day is pretty standard, ensuring the premises are secured and no alcohol has left, making that all of the patrons are happy, safe and enjoying the venue at that moment. I do however have some issues with the functionality of staff, mainly in the supervisory role. I have seen gross negligence of the other departments while my department is overloaded with calls regarding patrons who are disturbing the peace, I have seen the concession department serve more alcohol than a normal person can carry and make my job to supervise the overall alcohol intoxication level of the patrons much more harder to gauge.

A typical day at work at Northlands Park as a Reservations Coordinator entails making and receiving phone calls, making reservations, helping with set up. Around Derby Day is when Northlands is at its busiest. Coordinators would sell tickets, make seating arrangements and create the gift bags for the event. 

Everyone at Northlands, coworkers and supervisors, as well as the customers are very courteous and friendly.

a very enjoyable palce to work ,, the hardest part would have to be learning to carry wine glasses without breaking them on a trey ,, you work with someone new everyday so thats great the management team is very trustworthy and nice!!

Supper fun place to work, especially with Kdays and when the rodeo came. Coworkers are positive. I learnt how to do liquor counts when I was bartending, they paid for my preserve, super awesome for my first job.

Edmonton Northlands is a fun , professional place to work. I have worked there for four years and I stay because the people their are awesome.

Northlands expo centre doesn’t treat there workers with care, a lot of harassment on the job and very little done about it my over all experience with working with them was negative

It had a diffrent and nice setting everytime with many co workers so it wasn't too busy for every event. Managers were very nice and the building was very nice also.

I have worked with Northlands for many years, making lots of friends and having fun at work. They are very flexible and supportive while I am in school or working other full time jobs!
