This job is mismanaged from every direction, and they expect you to deliver them the world on a silver platter, and be happy about it.

The lead hand on processing side is useless and refuses to assist with work 90% of the time, while at the same time constantly berating everyone for going too slowly.

If anything goes wrong in any way just wait to see heads roll, even if the people in question had nothing to do with why there is a problem. If things aren't going so well, any infraction no matter how small will cost you your job, even if you can prove it wasn't you who made the mistake.

Do not work for this company, unless you enjoy working under extreme pressure and being berated for your quality of work (even if it is perfect). Or if you enjoy feeling like your job could be gone at a moments notice.

So u work in a freezer all day. They pay you less than most warehouse jobs and your in a freezer all day. Being a freezer they should understand this job should be A LOT higher wage due to working in the extreme environment year round. ($15-16) no matter the experience.There are benifits that dont start for a year. Boot allowance will be given back $110 after 6 months if you make it that long. Over all not a lot of incentives to stay. The office doesnt seem to know much about what goes on behind the freezer door. Real disconnect with management. Just go find work elsewhere youll be paid more for working indoors in normal temps.

I worked at Nosak Fine Meats for 2.5 years. It's a great place to understand how the process of making sausage products works. I worked in the packaging department for six months and then as an office assistant in the occupational health, marketing, and recruiting department. There is a conflict-free working environment on the floor and a friendly atmosphere in office communication. I learned a lot – HACCP, WHMIS, labor standards, and quality standards for meat production

Don't remember many enjoyable moments except for the meat products they leave for staff in the Lunch Room. Definitely not a best place to work, for people who want to work with Dignity and Self-respect. Be prepared to face threats from the Management, if you are an Immigrant/ or need Employers support to settle in this country.

Good workplace with great experience for me. A lot of interesting equipment/opportunity to learn it/direct contact with Contractors. Wage is not the highest, however, it's pretty fair as for me. Benefits: wage raise after 3 or 6 months,  Health/Dental coverage after 1 year, good working environment

If you like getting paid for as little as possible, worked like dog, have short hours, having to put up with the supervisor’s attitude & a toxic workplace here the place.

I was very stressed out when I first started but the people I worked with made it a lot less stressful for me.IT was a hard job at the start but you get use of it

I get the order and i have to pick the orders for the customers and used the forklift to get the orders from the rack.
if manager do not like you,she makes it hard on you.
there where good guys to work with

this is a great place to work. the staff is pretty great. it is very easy to get time off if you need to. the only downside is sometimes you have to work tons of overtime or you dont get full time hours 30-40 hrs
