What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As a third party call center, you are always at the end of the whip. Always needing to jump on zero notice, to meet customer requirements, and doing it for a reasonable price.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
High pressure, high responsibility, great learning environment. Little room for error.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start the day with a lineup at your desk, opportunity to do things that others haven't tried yet.

The job environment was always friendly and welcoming and a typical day was spent making out-bound calls to customers renewing Comcast cable, offering new credit cards or providing accident insurance policies.  I learned that you can still have fun in the work place even if the job your doing at the time doesn't seem ideal.  The hardest part of the job was probably the job itself.  Making the calls to the customers on a daily basis, it just so happens to be the I was good at it which helped a lot.  The best part of the job was social interaction with my co-workers and being able to mentor and train new employees coming onto the floor.

Enjoyable place to work .Knowing that keeping on routine everything goes smooth.Winter months so much more time keeping the floors clean . I would have to say the most enjoyable time is not telmarketing for the company but changing jobs to care-taker

I really enjoyed working here but due to health issues at the time I had no alternative but to quit my job.

The Management and staff are very friendly and make working at NuComm an enjoyable job.
The people you meet their are also very helpful when you first start working there and that makes it easier an more comfortable when starting a new job.

Always there to help, to improve our work stations to help us do our job effectively and efficiently.   All kinds of promos and gifts to show there appreciation for our hard work.

I found job overall okay. Nothing special. If you're in school or just need a quick income while looking for a better job then go for it. I was there about 2 years, went on mat leave...my mom died so I asked for a couple more months of and they made me quit. No comparison

Coworkers were fantastic.  Supervisors very helpful and always willing to help or lend an ear. 
Learned to tone my skills in multi phone lines, attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
Hardest part of the job was trying to take a break.

I worked here as a student.  It was an eye-opening experience, as I had never worked in an office environment.  The staff were welcoming and helpful.  Throughout the year that I was employed here, I was given a number of tasks, that allowed me to use my knowledge, as well as see how things operated in the “real world.”

I was a inbound/outbound rep worked on various calls for 3rd party clients. Unfortunately the call center moved from Welland to St Catharines and at the time I did not have transportation.

Call center job....nothing to exciting but stressful and repetitive.....not enough cash for responsibility...monitor ur breaks and doc pay...monitor your calls and push to get you out the door with three strikes in first 2 weeks.....laid off cause of lack of work in off season
