A day at this workplace feels like an ordinary day while taking care of daily tasks. The environment is lively and friendly. Everyone looks out for each other. I have personally learnt various things that contributes to healthy living, daily lifestyle, management skills, and Human Science. Nutcracker Management welcomes all culture and race. Everyone is treated equally and the employees themselves reflect that same equality amongst each other.

At Nutcracker Sweet, there are collaborative projects that get you to see many aspects of the business.  You are able to gain soo much knowledge and experience if you are willing to learn.  From November to December, it does keep you on your toes, but I personally love the fast-paced environment. Management is very down to earth which is very rare to find. 

I worked there since 2019. Unfortunately it’s seasonal only for most. It’s a fast paced environment making gift baskets which is fun to do. No experience necessary. All three managers are very nice and respectful. Given a chance to work overtime during the Christmas rush is great. You get to make extra money then. I would recommend this job to anyone. The atmosphere is pleasant.

Making towers, making baskets, wrapping, taping boxes

Filling in containers with hives.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The production room is always busy.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When we get new orders to make different baskets and towers.

A lot of favoritism for the certain employees they put you on a job with no help when you ask for help you get none you're told that you will but you don't and if you speak your mind on it they won't have you back very unfair company and there is no appreciation for the hard work you do.
Unfairly treated

I have many complaints about this company as a previous employee. I worked there for enough years to see how they treat their workers. Both front of store, and warehouse workers. They treat everyone as if they’re disposable and it is reflected in the hourly wage. It is definitely not worth the stress, especially during the holiday season. 

Don't even waste your time at this dump. The people in management are always stressed and their energy stresses you out. All for some baskets of junk food. They need a reality check. The staff fight over materials instead of collaborating and sharing and there are some really ignorant characters. For minimum wage, what a joke

I really enjoyed my time at Nutcracker this past season. Everytime I return, I feel like I leave with more friends. The management team has done a great job with making sure everything runs smoothly and there is very little stress. Thank you Nutcracker Sweet!

Great place to work. Did a variety of assignments. Chocolates and sweets to pack. Not boring. Relaxed atmosphere. Good lunch and breakfast hours. Happy to go home. Happy to start.the next day. Good pay. Good benefits
