Working here is quite alright overall. The workplace is generally organized, and most of the staff are friendly and willing to help when needed. The job provides a decent opportunity to gain experience, learn new skills, and develop a good work ethic. Management is usually supportive, and the work environment is not overly stressful compared to some other workplaces.

However, there are definitely better options available depending on what you are looking for. Pay could be more competitive, and opportunities for advancement may be limited. Scheduling can sometimes be inconsistent, and communication between management and employees could be improved. While the job gets the basics right, it does not necessarily stand out from other employers in the industry.

Overall, it is a reasonable place to work and can be a good starting point for gaining experience. That said, if higher pay, better benefits, or stronger career growth are priorities, there are likely better opportunities elsewhere.

* Typical day at work is to making sure that the place is clean, everything is organized and ready to go. While guest are their I ensure that they are ok, and there needs are fulfil.

* I've learned even more about being more punctual, and responding to properly to customers.

* I was fun working in a team because it thought me a lot of things about good team work/ and while doing our job we enjoyed it together. The hardest thing part of the job is when a lot of crowed comes down at one, and it becomes very ethic for me to be rushing and trying to pulling fulfil everyone's needs.      

* The most enjoyable time for me is when everyone can work and enjoy their selves and when we have work outings together.

Oakdale is well funded and has a good budget for paying staff, but in the end it's not Worth with its poor work to life balance, they do not appreciate the staff in the F&B who are the life of that place. Management make decisions that affect other staff, the metrics they use to measure staffs performance is unknown they just make decisions resulting in poor results. I don't encourage anyone working for the new Executive chef there. It was a poor experience overall, open to close shifts having no choice. 

If you like getting yelled at for hours while doing the job you were just asked to do, a beautiful golf course and the potential of getting run over by a golf cart every two minutes, you'll love Oakdale. While they do give you free lunches you're expected to scarf down your food in less than 30 minutes to work in the blazing sun with no additional breaks. But on the plus side, you have condescending bosses and not helpful work staff by your side to just lose your mind at. But I'd definitely say 10/10.

felt like i was walking on eggshells constantly. the younger staff are nice , restaurant supervisors are nice but the managers themselves are not. i enjoyed the job in the beginning but it kept getting worse and everyone was just miserable. I was promised to have a full time position but i ended up making less than the part time employees, and working slim hours. not a reliable place.

Oakdale is a joke. Everyday kitchen staff are overworked and there's always too much going on every week at the restaurant even though they are understaff. People they hire are either unreliable or have no common sense when working.  Executive chef was useless AF. No tips and don't even get me started on their annual "bonus". I've work on restaurants that give huge tip outs weekly compare to waiting for 6 months for that "bonus" they promise

Having worked at this Club for so many years, i have come to realize that this is not an ideal work environment. This is due to the fact that we are forced to work under unsuitable weather conditions, also because despite the fact that i have plenty of experience in this field of work, i feel that i am being underpaid. This company does not pay according to work performance.

greeting and serving members. Making sure their experience is 100% everytime. I learned not to be so uptight have fun and be professional at the same time. The hardest part of my job is not being so hard on myslef if something goes wrong. The most enjoyable part of my job is getting to know the members of the club and actually building a relationship with them.

It was a great experience with oakdale golf course and country club .They are very disciplined and zero tolerance, I wished I can have my second chance to be called back to work.

The employees are amazing, but management doesn’t seem to care about their staff. Employees are expected to work full-time hours, yet they aren’t provided with any benefits. There’s clear favoritism, with management picking and choosing who they support. Overall, it feels like management is more focused on cutting costs than valuing their employees
