The worst part of the Windsor Location is the management, hands down. 

Managers and Leads tangle their opinions together and heavily nit-pick and berate you whenever they can. 

They will also wreck your schedule whenever you denied filling in for someone or did something they didn't like.

The Benefits are incredibly lackluster, the discount is 10% only taking off about 50 cents off purchases, You purchase your own uniforms, only being provided two shirts to begin with and a hat. Scheduling is horribly inconsistent and you will rarely get what you ask for. Closing shifts are used as punishment as well. 

Bad workers are incredibly tolerated here, a mix of nepotism and seniority will prevent you ever having to worry about being fired. 

There is also very much a "green-washing" type of thing going on here too, as its stated how important waste is to the company.

That is until you look in the dumpsters at the end of the night and its filled to the brim with food, widely due to not letting employees take the food home at the end of the night. 




Most of the people that work there are really good people. However management is a complete joke and almost all areas of the store. They blatantly disrespect workers upstairs in the office. I had never known what the phrase meant passing the buck until I came here. As soon as somebody steps into a leadership role you can expect their productivity to decline rapidly and pass all work beneath them to others. If you clock out on time you are frowned upon. This company loves TO WORK YOU 10 DAYS STRAIGHT NO OVERTIME. Yes this is legal they use this loophole although it is extremely unethical. I was always told that the people that make salary should come in and work those days but to each their own. If you're desperate for hours in the job then this is the place but if you have any sorts of self-esteem and college degrees stay away from here.

My department was under staffed for over a year and while I asked for help multiple times, I was not listened to.  Upper management was more concerned with daily meetings at the business office.  I was not included in the hiring process for my department and the part time employees that were hired were dreadful (one quit and one was fired).   I cried almost every day on my way into work.  Upper management plays favorites and everyone is aware of this.  They tout work life balance but that is not the case. There is limited to no training so one must be a self starter.

Worked at the tavern in Windsor, and within six months I was the second longest employed person there aside from management. Extremely disorganized, would get yelled at by one manager for doing something another manager told me to do, very, very poor communication, ect. Very high rate of my coworkers simply quitting on the spot and walking out. HR does not care and will blame you if managers or customers mistreat you, despite their promises.

Also, the health incentive feels more like a way to deny employee discounts if you don't exercise and buy their smoothies. Other places start out giving you a 30% discount--here, you have to earn it.

I've worked for Oliver's for a few years now and I enjoy working for the company and feel like my work is valued and I am compensated fairly.  I've held several different positions at each of our locations and I can honestly say that hard work is rewarded and employees that set themselves apart with their work ethic are recognized.  Is Oliver's perfect?  Of course not but  your attitude and what you make of it goes a long ways.  It's a good place to work that pays competitive wages.  

I worked at Oliver’s for 5 months, it was my favorite of all my jobs, I ended up leaving when the covid stay at home order was put in effect the first time. The management is very supportive some of the shift leads are a little rude at times. But if you are looking for a good job that will fulfill all your wishes, no matter if you are tatted and pierced head to toe, or have orange and green hair, you are welcome there.

I loved working at Olivers but something happened culturally. Management became very much divided. Their harassment and tolerance policy is weak and poorly enforced. You have to choose a side. Outwardly it seems great but they allow toxic behavior to proliferate unchecked. I dont play games. I tried to get help but instead I was terminated. Its okay for a weekly paycheck. Unless you drink the company koolaid and dont rock the boat there is no advancement. So...Be careful and watch your back.

The consistency and coworkers.

The space is crowded. The management is difficult. Micro management or no management. Long time employees aren’t encouraged.

Difficult because it is click ish.

Busy with tasks. Stressful with customers. Not enough room.

FAVORITISM!!!  STRESSFUL!!!!  Expected to work non-stop.  Certain employees get away with murder and can do no wrong. while others get written up.  Petty, immature, uneducated workers with no filter when expressing themselves.  Profanity and vulgarity abound!!!

Manager struts around like a princess peacock and plays favorites with pet staff members.  You DO NOT WANT TO WORK IN BAKERY PRODUCTION!!!!  It’s a toxic cesspool!!!!!!
