   Working this job has made me realize how often responsibilities fall outside the scope of actual security work. While I signed on to ensure the safety and protection of property and people, I’ve frequently been tasked with duties that align more with housekeeping than security. I’ve had to clean up after events, move furniture, take out garbage, and handle messes left behind by patrons — tasks that are clearly not part of a licensed security guard’s job description. This not only takes time away from maintaining a secure environment but also devalues the role we’re supposed to perform. It often feels like management takes advantage of our presence by assigning extra work without additional compensation or support. While I take pride in being reliable and hardworking, I believe there should be clearer boundaries between roles. Security staff should be treated as professionals, not as backup janitorial staff.                                 
                                                             

I have never heard in my lifetime, I am 52, of a company not willing to give a reference when the job you are working on is over. Also you never have a contract.... only an offer letter which means that you have zero guarantees of working for ANY period of time...I was shocked to find out that my CONTRACT was only an offer letter which means nothing. I also was to be working from 6:00 until 2:30 but they changed my hours to 8:00 to 4:30. without a pay hike for the horrendous extra travel time.

Bad experience working there. There is new staff coming in every couple of weeks because no one seems to be able to stay there longer. They hire unexperienced workers and the food quality is terrible. The chef that hired me quit 1 month after hiring me. New Chef is still getting used to the place. 
No time to take breaks, often work a whole shift without eating. They do not respect their employees and are fraudulent. The management is questionable and the staff as well. I strongly suggest people stay away from this company.

Respect and family atmosphere.

There is none, because we all work together independent yet as a team to en sure we deliver 5 Star service Always in All Ways

Like a good comfortable family

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Active And fun. Staying o top of your game

Started with a lot of shifts when is your training . But after they keep you with 1 or 2 shifts every week. 

A lot of employees and not enough shifts for everyone. Example: 15 employees for only 7 shifts available every week.

Unbalance of shifts,  and hours every week

Manager doesn't value you job. Supervisor doesn't respect you

Manager always mess up with the schedule and doesn't respect seniority.

Good pay but not a nice place to work at.

This Hotel is a very bad energy place to work  with bad work ethics, management doesnt listen to their employees ,lack security as in sante securite  work place very hazardous ,fruit flies everywhere and management in many departments need to have there training skills updated big time

Very fast-paced, a lot to learn on a daily basis. It is a well structured organization in terms of their workflow processes. You have to be detail-oriented to succeed in any client facing role here.

This is my 2nd experience working in a different country. I've learned how to adapt with different cultures. It's a good thing that I've work with nice people. I work in a team where everyone helps one another. The most enjoyable part of the job is when the guests compliments on the dish i made. 

Responsible for all facets of office cleaning, Dusting, vacuuming and emptying the emptying garbage. Working on two or three floors taking cart up and down the elevator, pass keys and passwords to get into required area.

I was a cleaner at the local university, this was my first job after high school. There was nothing wrong with this job exactly, it just wasn't for me.The one positive about this job was the hours it was the closest thing to a 9-5 job I've ever had.
