 I recently had the opportunity to work at an incredible workplace during my field placement as a recreation aide student.The staff  here is really emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration.  I'm so grateful for the experience and can't wait to continue learning and growing in this field.


This is a horrible place to work at! A lot of ongoing workplace harassment with 0% Human Rights Considerarion, if you want to be abused and neglected by managers every single day of your life, and you want to earn minimum wage then this is a right place for you.
No one stays in this place especially Recreation Department, that's why they are hiring every 2 months!!

I was able to do volunteer work there and the employees are good and easy to work with. People from different departments were all accommodating especially from the recreations department. The recreation staff there are so fun to be with, work is manageable and everything is an opportunity to enhance skills and improve knowledge.


At one kenton place the recreation staff is really nice and supportive all the time. I learned so many things which are beneficial for me. They have provided me many opportunities where i can learn and given me a chance to polish my skills. I really appericiate their efforts towards their work.  

The management and most of staff are friendly and nice to work with. Communication between PSWs and program staff could be improved. Above all I really enjoyed working with the residents and bonding with them. There are hard moments, of course, but it's a rewarding job.

It was a very tough experience with lots of harassment and work place bullying from colleagues and bosses.This experiences are very hard to share and it was so sad that union was unable to help.

 From the day first all the staff is so polite and helpful . I gained alot of experience from one kenton place . 
Recreational department is amazing ...I will definitely recommend everyone to be part of one kenton family. 

its a good working experienced for a personal support worker. Learning in different phases and working in a fast-phase situation will give lots of learning for a new psw.
Downside is the benefits and the salary is not met.

I worked there as a recreation aide and management was very unprofessional. Save your mental health, it's not worth it for minimum wage. Do not apply.

The management is very disrespectful and work environment is extremely toxic.Noone is bothered about employees feelings and offer zero support.lot of favouritism .
