Ophardt Hygiene Technologies Inc

A typical day of work at Ophardt consisted of basic maintenance on injection mold machines and automation processes. The automation was very mechanical in nature, so I had little experience in this field, compared to electrical. During the relocation of injection mold machines, I was required to adequately size transformers, wires, and over-current protection, while submitting an AutoCAD draft to the ESA for approval. The hardest part of the job was the physically intense labour during summer, with a lack of air conditioning in a plant that produces a large amount of heat. The most enjoyable part was the amount I learned from my supervisors.

10 hour work days in a very lean run environment. Entered orders for North American customers, processed invoices, prepared shipping documents, answered customer inquiries via email and phone, entered orders in European database, scheduled containers for shipping, entered purchase orders and worked closely with Production to ensure orders were completed and shipped on time to the customer.
Experience gained in the position was great. 
Workplace was extremely fast paced. 
Lack of direction from management when questions were asked was the most difficult part of the position.
Working we other employees that have since become long time friends was the best part of the job.

Great place to work, good people overall,the HR ladies are top notch,  most lead hands are nice and helpful they are very accommodating to your needs. 
Unfortunately several people have taken a layoff, but I will remain hopeful that they get busier and call me back, I most certainly return. 

one of the worst places I've ever worked for! 12 hr shifts, boring and repetitive work the fumes from the machines made me light-headed. Ridiculously hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Parking lot is WAY too small for how many people work there.No proper training and management has no clue what they're doing.

Very stressful job, big favouritism, you won't be appreciated no matter what you do or being talented. The management scares you from time to time about no jobs and they start shifting ppl from place to place then fire them. 

Mass hiring , shutdowns, lay offs.
Do not recommend as less people work there now than when I started.
Short staffed on weekends due to employee absence.
Very noisy work environment.
Lots of unhappy employees who do not like to work.

Staff takes advantage of employees, the work you’re doing does not line up with the pay. Some staff are kind but some are down right mean, they will over work and under pay you and are very aware of that.

the job was fast paced at times, slow at others. unfortunately it was not long term as they had a mass lay off after receiving covid funding. would of stayed and probably would go back. enjoyed learning new things and most of the staff were great to work with.

I got 2 day notice before being laid off. It doesn’t matter if your a hard worker or not it’s all about favouritism ! It felt more like a game of who you can kiss up too! There’s no communication between management and the employees ether!
