A typical day as a dental hygienist in this dental office is organized, efficient, and focused on delivering excellent patient care. I’ve learned how to elevate my clinical skills, follow proper protocols, and provide care that meets the highest standards. Management is exceptional, professional, supportive, and committed to helping you grow. The workplace culture is friendly, collaborative, and filled with staff who are always willing to help. The dentists are friendly and a joy to work with. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the fast pace and high expectations, but it pushes you to become a stronger provider. The most enjoyable part is working in a positive environment where you feel valued, supported, and proud of the care you deliver.


A typical day at Paris Dental Centre is very busy, but generally also very smooth. There is SO much support available for clinical staff to help us stay on time which is difficult to find in a dental office. Every single member of the team is always ready and willing to jump in whenever necessary, every day is truly a group effort. My fellow team members feel more like family than co workers to me, and I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such skilled and dedicated dentists, assistants, admin, hygienists and management. This was my first office out of hygiene school and I truly cannot see myself ever looking elsewhere. This is the “unicorn office” all dental professionals search so hard for.

PDC seems like a great place to work, but it’s not. The only time you heard from management is when you parked in the parking lot (you have to park blocks away and walk) or when you are being reprimanded. One of them guilt trips employees with her MS condition that no one is aware of because they don’t interact with her. Inside the office you can find AMAZING dentist and assistants and hygienists. The orthodontist clearly doesn’t want to be there . They have one hygienist who is running late every day, usually 30-40 minutes each patient but they don’t do anything about it  (let them know before hand, schedule extra time). Very gossipy and cliquey. 
Just don’t :) 

I am a certified dental assistant/pod assistant with 30 years of experience, and I can honestly say Paris Dental Centre has been my favourite place I’ve ever worked. The team is supportive, respectful, and truly feels like a family. Management values their staff and creates a positive, professional environment. It’s rare to find a workplace where you genuinely enjoy coming to work every day, and I’m very grateful to be part of this clinic.

Great Staff- Management is hard to work with-not willing to keep the hard working people by giving them the wages they deserve. Will let them leave and put the weight of them being gone on other staff while they scramble to replace them (with less qualified people) 

Some complaints go on deaf ears and they allow certain management members to treat their staff badly- the office is so big that it goes unspoken or unheard by head management (big issue) 

Most of the management team is great and is very helpful and compassionate-overall it is a good place to get some experience as they have multiple specialties in the office to get a good background in all aspects of dentistry.

Worked here for 3 months and it was absolutely terrible. All they care about is money and production. Management, especially the treatment coordinator was disgraceful. They expect you to sit in a corner for 10 hours a day and call patients and if you don’t do enough in an hour, they write you up or fire you. The admin staff are extremely cliquey and heaven forbid you be younger than some of the older ladies and you know more than them. Work here if you just want to be a number, stuck in a corner and don’t want to use any actual brain power. The only good thing about the office is Dr.Gertig. 

Great bunch to work with, such a positive and supportive group of people!  Lots of learning and growth opportunity in this office. Full or part-time options and office hours make it easy to maintain a good work-life balance and management is always willing to work with individuals with schedule preferences.  Love the little surprises of treats and tokens of appreciation that are passed along.

It can be stressful if we are understaffed, when staff are off or sick

Extremely ethical, and fun place to work!  I have always felt safe and fully prepared to provide patients with the absolute best care. The staff are amazing and the management so easy to talk with and always willing to work with you. If I didn't want to pursue an orthodontic office only, I wouldn't work anywhere else and would be there forever! Such an awesome family feel office even being as large as it is!

Amazing place to work. Like any job, there can be stress at times, but the support system at PDC is truly unmatched. There are constant opportunities to learn and grow, and the work-life balance is excellent. I genuinely hope to be here until retirement.
