Pacific Smoke International

Working with internal teams and handling customer inquiries helped me quickly gain a solid understanding of the company’s business model and products. On top of that, during my first three months, my manager provided comprehensive training on internal policies and processes, which allowed me to adapt to the role quickly.

As a CSR, I’ve found that work–life balance is not an issue. While other departments may face challenges in this area, they are also compensated at a higher level than my department. In my department, everyone genuinely seems satisfied with their role.

The management team is very approachable and supportive—you can easily knock on their door to have a conversation. I also know they host employee feedback sessions with the warehouse team to hear and address concerns, which shows they are open to listening and willing to make changes. (e.g., the colleague in warehouse said the company changed the vacation payment structure and the regular package weight)

1) Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and ensuring efficient & effective processes are in place, including – space planning, storage, packing, shipping process and ensuring all materials are supplied and delivered on time.    2) Lead and supervise a team of packers & shippers including onboarding, training, and monitoring performance to ensure collaborative, organized, and efficient work.
3)Monitor, collect data, and maintain daily warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
4) I learn all outbound shipping & new packing techniques.
5) Our company is a multi-culture workplace 
6) The hardest part of my job is keep on updated all international shipping information such as import restrictions & requirements of different country to ensure the shipments are go smoothly and without delayed due to incorrect documentation .
7) The most enjoyable part is allow me to provide suggestion or explain company difficulties directly to top management-COO & CEO.

this business cannot even uphold basic respect between people. I don't think this is a good workplace for anyone.. you can find more detailed reviews online but unless they really revamp the customer service department, be careful. this was the worst work experience i've ever had, and I have worked with people who make triple the salary than the people at this place and were demanding but had better self-control and knew better than to be openly hostile and aggressive.

At the workplaces i worked at before, people were professionals, polite, and workplace aggressiveness was minimal. and there was basic respect and people had self composure. 

This was a jarring experience.

having been through this laughable but at the time jarring experience, please watch out for yourself and please take care of yourself if you choose to work here; when you feel people are trying to attack you in some way , there's a real reason for that feeling unfortunately. take care of yourself, be careful, and good luck if you need to work here temporarily.

Working at Pacific Smoke International as a CSR was not the best experience. The job is strictly 9–5 on the computer, and breaks are only 30 minutes, which often means eating at your desk. The environment tends to have a lot of gossip, and there’s little consistency in leadership. The manager and assistant often give different instructions, leaving employees confused.

Training is minimal—you're expected to “just know” things as soon as you start. Without proper procedures in place, you end up constantly asking the lead or manager, only to receive conflicting directions. Processes aren’t standardized, so you may answer in your own way, but later find your work changed to fit someone else’s preference. It feels like the leads and managers don’t align, which creates unnecessary stress.

Overall, the lack of proper training, inconsistent procedures, and poor communication made it a difficult place to work.

I have a positive experience working here. They provide structured training during the first few weeks, which really helps you settle in and understand the workflow. One thing I appreciated was the opportunity to rotate through different roles—perfect if you’re interested in learning more about distribution and gaining a broader skill set. Just note that meeting operational targets is part of the job.

The team culture is very supportive. There’s no rigid hierarchy—you can speak directly with the owners, and they truly listen and treat everyone with respect.

There are also some thoughtful perks, like a free company T-shirt (saves you from having to buy your own workwear, if you don't mind wearing it) and bottled water provided daily—something I hadn’t seen at previous jobs.

Overall, it’s a solid place to work, especially if you're looking for a respectful environment with room to learn.

What’s also worth mentioning is that the company doesn’t settle. PSI is a great place to develop versatility, as the work is both challenging and demanding. You’ll often need to wear multiple hats, which makes it a strong fit for those seeking growth and variety—not for someone looking for an easy or strictly 9-to-5 role. And if you perform well, they provide you with more opportunities and greater flexibility.
The company values skills and cultural fit over whether or not you have prior Canadian experience. What matters most is the value you bring and the expertise you offer.
The HR team is consistently working to make things better for employees. For example, the Christmas parties over the past two years have been outstanding, featuring great venues, an amazing magician show, and excellent food.

So far my experience has been positive at PSI. As a picker, the days can be long and physically demanding, but I appreciate that the company provides ample breaks to help manage the workload. Expect to be on your feet for long periods of time and walking for the majority of your shift. While the environment can be fast-paced and occasionally stressful, the supportive management, helpful coworkers, and overall positive atmosphere on the floor make a big difference. Overall, I’m pleased with my experience at PSI so far.

If you’re looking for hands-on experience, a chance to adapt quickly, and an opportunity to build valuable career skills, this is the right place for you. That said, be prepared—it’s a demanding environment. For example, the sales team is required to meet weekly store visitation targets, so if you enjoy being on the road, this role could be a great fit.

As a production assistant, a typical work day starts with picking up orders when I arrive to work, following what the supervisor instructs us to do that day, and completing whatever paper orders and tasks we need to fulfill to get the product out. Throughout the years here, I have learned how to fill and label the bottles of vape juice we produce. Overall, most people are easy to get along to work with and the job is okay once you are able to pick it up.
