Been with the company for 7 years now and can't ask for more. I am a pioneer here.  It may not be the perfect company but the people who made it and the co-workers that make it worth staying. My typical day at work is relaxed, only stressful during Christmas season and some occasions but other than that it is relaxed. I've seen the changes in the management style, mix of leniency and strict policies.  Hardest part of the job is during big parties, I get slammed with a lot of tasks but co-workers are team players and help is always there. Most enjoyable part of the job is everyone is family, we work and we have fun working together. No drama people. Plus I acquired Brazilian Portuguese as my fifth language.

Great team to work with but the owners are selfish, racist and no respect to some of their staff. Their corporate team is a joke and inexperienced. Most of the time, they don't know what their doing and they are just relying to their hourly staff.  Both chef from corporate and owner wants to serve the food even though it is not good, expired or it fell from the floor to save cost. They always cut corners to save money even though it is illegal. If they like you, they will make your your life easy (even though the staff is useless) but if they don't like you, they will make your life miserable to forced you to quit so they will not pay severance.

You will grow fast since you have to adpat to a wide scope of responsibility within such a little time. 
The owner and company culture are very ungenerous, paying minimum wage while expecting you to work in a high-responsibility, constantly understaffed operation. There is little recognition or room for growth, leaving some professionals highly stressed and in survival mode. This makes them easily become toxic if they don't like you or share a similar background. Thankfully, the owner is not always around, as he creates a very stressful environment for everyone. With all these challenges, its a great temporary place before finding a more stable and positive envoirment


If you’re looking to make good money as a server work here! I worked here over the summer and made lots of cash in tips. I especially loved the people I worked with and management, everyone was always very helpful if you needed something and you had 5 other things to do. Though this is not a laid back serving job, I found it very high stress and had a lot of memorization involved, plus some yelling as you have to greet every table the same with an explanation of how the restaurant works, and the restaurant itself can sometimes be very loud.

Fun place to work. Great training and experience in the kitchen and front of house. Interaction with guests is enjoyable. Sometimes when busy it’s extremely stressful and difficult to maintain quality of service due to often short-staffed nights. High stress with expectations of work quality. Management often times is quite critical of performance and scapegoats employees when things don’t run smoothly. Advancement can be difficult to achieve.

great high quality food ,very expensive for the average city  folk  great staff but management are not very skilled , very strict workplace culture 

Duties will include prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cooking meals, checking ingredients for freshness, and arranging and garnishing the dishes. You will also be in charge of ensuring that the kitchen and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.

A lot of miscommunication, especially with different languages. Not a lot of English used in the kitchen. Cut my hand really bad and was told it was ok and to apply pressure and went to the dr after my shift and had it glued together. Expectations are way too high for what they pay, a lot of pressure that shouldn’t be there. A lot of why can’t you be better. Management was very judgemental and not understanding at all. Overall horrible experience. Do not work here.

Working here is a great learning experience for anyone looking to find restaurant experience but the place is understaffed so there’s just a bunch of young kids getting slammed every weekend. Poor management, purposely target younger staff for their work and expect a lot from them. Seems to be a bit prejudiced against coloured people. 

Been working here for 5 years and counting. I can't complain about my co-workers and the management. Everyone is nice, fun to work with and  I'm treated well by everyone.  I acquired Portuguese in the long run too. Team building and parties on occasions.
