If your looking to get hired automatically but dont mind some grouchy and disgruntled people and minimum wage then this job is for you. As a ramp agent at Pearson you are probably if not the lowest of the low in rank. However the job did have its upsides every once and awhile. 

Night shifts seem to be less hectic and if your lucky enough sometimes youd be able to help tow a plane from the maintenance hangar. 

The pay is not great since its only minimum wage and you also have to acquire a RAIC card for security clearance which can take months to a year, not to mention security can make you trying to get to work a hassel if you dont have full clearance!

Dont even get me started on the hours! i once had to work a shift from 11 pm to 330 am and it almost killed me literally! i fell asleep on highway 401 on the way home and hit an 18 wheeler then almost went underneath it!

I have very short period of working experience at Airport,  Had Great Team workers, but No one was happy with the Management Of Air India not satisfied ,we all did our best hard work, no appreciations.
 the time management and scheduling was very unprofessional.

had very sad experience the managers were treated must workers in very bad manners or rude behaviors. even the pilots  were not happy they weren't get paid in time.

At the beginning of the training time we were 45 member at same Air India, after completed training become 25 workers, when we start checking clients as Costumer Agent we were 15, than only 8 left. I was concern whats going on i was hoping for the best thing happen but unfortunately it got worse. all those team we worked together were unhappy not satisfied with management. than they all start applying different Air lines.

Had a great time working at the Pearson International Airport. My co-workers were the best. Friendly and productive atmosphere. The only problem was the management. The daily activities at the workplace was always great unless the manager would show up and creat animosity amongst the staff.
The most enjoyable part would be when we were all set up and ready for the passengers to come so we could serve them.We made great friends with the passengers over the years. Even though I had left the workplace to seek education, passengers would still ask about me and keep in touch.

ramp agents safely guide their planes into gates and then push them back out again. Ramp agents are also responsible for all ground servicing of a commercial airliner, including loading and unloading of baggage and cargo. Ramp agents typically operate a variety of machinery and equipment, including baggage loader belts, diesel pushback tractors and small baggage cart tugs. In cold weather, ramp agents operate aircraft deicing trucks, working aloft to spray deicer fluids on assigned airliners.

Learned the different elements to cooking ei. portioning, multitasking and more
management was patient and treated you with respect 
co workers were like family at work and after work
hardest part was to leave at the end of the night 
the most enjoyable part of work was the rush and fast pace environment when it got busy

I've learned to interact with people better by working at Pearson International Airport. Got to meet different kind and type of people while working there. 
Management is great and is very understanding 
I enjoy working at Pearson International because i like working with people and help them sort out any issues they might have
Hardest part could be that you end up working unto 16 hours a day, but that's understandable because of flight delays

A regular Day at work for me was to stack bags inside a container
to prepare a organized baggage clearnce for depature

On arrival to offload bags from the container onto a conveyour belt
to ensure passengers recieve their luggage

Was able to learn different styles of cooking.Very fast pasted .Excellent place because there is always room to expand.The people that work there are very friendly and helpful and there is always something surprising and different happening everyday.

Barely worked with co-workers, very independent work. lots of communication but only by phone. Never knew who the customer was, only by name. Almost like a game of "Guess who". Odd hours, had lots of stuff to keep me occupied but never enough.

This was a great experience which, helped to gain knowledge about aircraft aerodynamics as well as aircraft stability. However, different machines were introduced used in aircraft stream.
