working at peel manor as a summer student was life changing for me. I got work in an environment that taught me so many skills that I still apply today. The typical day at work was to answer phone calls and to assist others in the office. While I was there I was offered to work on a project and and worked with more than one supervisor. The workplace culture was welcoming and nice, I didn't face any problems there and everyone worked very well as a team. The hardest part of my job to be honest was emotional impact it had on me when dealing with the deaths of residents. The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to provide help and assist residents with their daily activities and everyday just waiting my "friends" to come to the front desk and saying hello.

Friendly enviroment,respectfully,teammates,management very supportive. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
In my personal opinion there is no stress at Peel manor ...just be organized...and  be there for the residents when they need you.

It's Amazing,Staffan management are very polite ,respectful and help you out on anything you need.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Assist residents ,staff and management on any request regarding maintenance. This apply for every department, very nice place to work at .

The pay is great the management term is very fare and compassionate and you can grow in the company as well as your education

Short staffing and the new system that they are using to call for shift

The work culture is very diverse 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I’m a term player so working with some of the challenges with a  good partner usually goes smooth and the need of the residents are met

I like the Cooperation of team members

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When residents create mess and try to clean by themselves.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is so nice. In culture they are very formal I like that.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When I was there I was student and i was going from kitchener so I was getting tierd on the last day like I did 3 days last was typical for me.

excellent environment where i could assist the residents in LTC. i am working as a physio assistant also. The reason i like to work here is , I work with all kinds of people, especially geriatrics.management supports me abundantly.i have got a bunch of supportive and experienced colleagues where we excel in providing care with a teamwork.

Harder to get full time position in Peel Manor . Did not go by seniority but with interview again and again until you are working for 5 years , 10 years or more , it doesn’t matter . Sometimes the newly hired staff become full time and you still waiting to be .

My overall review was excellent, as a part time going above and beyond my duties to comfort the residents when needed which I enjoyed. I cleaned all washrooms, scrubbed and buffed all flooring areas .

The most enjoyable part of my job is to see the smile on my client face after I offer my help in whatever way, even if it means to give them a hug to let them know that I love and care for them regardless of their health issue.

It is a great place to work,my co workers work well together,and we laugh a lot. I would recomend it anyone! The company is always providing their employees with education to enhance they abilty to work well.

Good money but you work for it, very fast paced. 10 residents per PSW, management expectations are high. I think there isn't enough team players which makes it stressful, if you help each other your ok.
