Pioneer Plumbing & Heating Inc

I’m currently employed at Pioneer Plumbing and can confidently say it’s a fun place to work. There is however, a lot of turnover which can be hard to keep up at times. I’ve also heard that the median pay is a bit below average. You also need to contribute monthly towards benefits. With that being said, I believe the benefits of having amazing managers, 4d work weeks and “work at your own pace” mentality, exceeds the few negatives. You’re also likely to get put into a van, regardless of experience. 
Pioneer also highly invests in the safety of their employees having “paid safety classes” monthly. They give you a safety bag consisting of most safety gear when you are first employed. 
My biggest negative is the shop manager. He can be extremely passive aggressive at times and you never really know what you’re going to get with him as it changes from day to day. He also tends to favor certain employees. He’s not a bad person, but having to deal with him is frustrating and exhausting at times (maybe because he’s the oldest in age?). 
Overall, I enjoy working at Pioneer and would encourage anyone looking for a youthful, fun environment to give it a shot! 

Excellent management for a healthy top down team built approach. All daily tasks have a written down procedure which keeps daily paperwork minimal and easy to access for other team members in the company. There is no “family” culture so if there is a problematic colleague there is no special treatment. The team culture makes a “your win is everyones win” so communication between management, technicians and everyone involved is heard and respected. 

This company has great management and takes care of appreciates its hard-working employees. They are always innovating, growing and improving, which I think separates them from other service companies. I'm happy I can be a part of an organization where we are all so focused on coming up with ways to provide the best customer experience. What I notice is that if you can help the company be better in some way, those results are paid right back to you in some way, which is always motivating and encouraging to improve myself. 

Pioneer is a fast paced admin environment with plenty of opportunity for knowledge and growth. Management is very hands on and always trying to improve our work environment as well as the services we provide. The best part of my job is working as a team with so many great people. Even with being a remote employee we are treated like a family. It is great to be acknowledged for doing my job well. 

Pioneer is an amazing company to work for. They offer the option to work 4 10 hour shifts per week which means a long weekend every week. The company is organized and managed well. The team is a young professional group of technicians. Lots of room to grow within the company. Quarterly events for team bonding are also planned. Company van and phone are also great.

Pioneer Plumbing is probably the greatest company I have ever worked for. The owners (Curtis and Bryson) have helped me out so much work wise and personal life wise. All the managers are super friendly and don’t ever put pressure on any of their techs and all the staff and super friendly. 

There is a big effort in ensuring workers are happy and a lot is done to make a busy job as stress free as possible. Very organized dispatch. Worked with other plumbing service companies and they often over work and under appreciate their employees. There is a feeling of valve working at Pioneer

Working at Pioneer has been an overall great experience. Both the crew managers and owners are east going people. The co. Workers here have no problem helping with an issue you might run into. I have recommended pioneer to friends and will continue to do so.
