Your typical day working here consist of a 15 minute meeting starting 8:45, then your actual work will start at 9 am and end at 6 pm.

The work consists of calling "customers" non stop and try to convince them into signing up with whatever insurance campaign they have you on. That means transferring them over to a licensed agent and they must stay on the phone for at least three minutes with the agent to count as a transfer. You must be constantly checking slack, so if you don't have two monitors then you are out of luck. You will be reprimanded for not checking slack, but you must always be on the phone, so it's a difficult balance. If you are off the phone, it is considered wrap up time and anything after 30 minutes will be docked from your pay. Now that sounds fair, but it seems like the program itself doesn't calculate the time properly, usually going way over. 

The commission is nice, but relies on you hitting 25 a day. Wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for a majority of your customer base already getting the same call at least five times before you called them. Thus hitting your commission is based purely on luck, but this isn't the only company out there calling these people.  
I would call people who would just get off the phone with someone else over the exact same thing, whether they were signed up or not. That's either an issue with the program, or the companies but no matter what Pitch Perfect sees it as your fault. 
Who you call is out of your control, so fingers crossed it isn't someone who already has work insurance, hasn't received over a dozen of these calls within the last hour, or just someone who isn't interested. 

Management themselves can come off as nice, but you can feel the fakeness in the meetings. People have asked questions such as how to handle certain situations and the response was so stock and meant nothing that I realized there's no point talking to management. They can be very rude at times, and openly mock employees in the Slack  chat if repeated questions were asked or if employees were confused on work. 

This job also requires you to lie to customers if not blatantly, at least through omission.  If customers ask any questions you MUST respond with what the company has scripted or you can get in trouble. Pitch Perfect wants you to lie to these people, as they can potentially sign up if they already have free insurance, but then it messes up the customer's insurance. This company causes a big mess to anyone they call and isn't 100% willing to sign up right away. 

In summary, 
The work is dull and you can lose pay easily if the program doesn't work properly(which it won't). Luck has to be on your side to keep the job, as if you don't hit your 25 you will be let go without notice. Management will not listen to any explanation and will just view you as another cog in the machine. 


A typical day at this job was handling 500-600 calls, trying to get 4 transfers an hour. Not generally possible as the people called would usually have already had 10+ calls about the affordable care act we were trying to sell and would be swearing at us. I learned nothing from this position. Management did not care about their employees, just trashed us on Slack because it was assumed we were all stupid. When the program we used crashed, it was because our internet connection wasn't fast enough, even though agents across North America reported issues. It was all about the money and the president of the company would rant on Slack about how useless we were. There was nothing enjoyable about the job. It was a pay cheque. If you questioned it at all, there was never an answer from HR. They would log you out from Slack and email you in the evening to tell you that you had been let go if you weren't making their quota.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience.

My employment ended without any prior notice or warning, which felt extremely unprofessional and difficult to navigate. Communication from HR was poor, and I did not feel supported during my time there.

What was most concerning was the lack of accommodation for medical needs. I was unable to get time off for a mandatory appointment and was forced to reschedule, resulting in a one-month delay due to limited hospital availability. Even after rescheduling, my request was still not approved. This level of inflexibility for essential medical care was very disappointing.

There was also constant pressure to meet strict performance targets, with the risk of being sent home if expectations were not met.

Overall, my experience felt unsupportive, poorly managed, and lacking basic consideration for employee well-being.

Pitch perfect is great place to work, you have to be strong headed and not be sensitive as you will get a lot of calls where the cx is frustrated and will take it out on you. 
They pay fairly well for a stay at home job. And as for commission you have to work for it as any sell job. The management is superior compared to other places I’ve worked. 
Overall, it’s a wonderful place to work as long as you can handle the heat. 

You will dial about 300 to 700 calls doing lead generation.
If you are not making quota you will not earn commission or bonuses. 
If you do not work 38 hrs in a given week commission and bonuses are taken away for that entire week.
Your boss will threaten your job on a regular basis.
It is a high-stress environment with little reward. 

This work place will terminate you without notice on what you did wrong. and will also false statements as to why they fired you without a  proper explanation.  They will also make you buy your own work equipment as well.

This place is amazing to work for , the owner and management are amazing people and any find you need help boosting your numbers they are there to help you tweak you calls to make it work best for you 

Unless company,  no understanding of personal problems. Just want to make money. Unprofessional messages left in Slack. They say they'll help you, but I asked 3 times, no response. Can't understand when you don't get transfers. You don't always get people who are interested.

I've been working at this company for a year. It's legit. Don't listen to the bad reviews.  The staff are understanding. They will help you if you are interested in actually working. I love this job nothing more to say.

Worked here about a year now. It's a great place to work. The staff want to see you succeed, and will spend as much time as it takes to see you get to where you want to go here.
