An ongoing power struggle. Too many chiefs and not enough people getting things done. Travel was extensive and demanded even if the prospect was luke warm. No concern on spending money...I'd be a nervous investor as the company does not seem to be fiscally responsible. Concentration on Tier1 merchants is unrealistic as the very large companies can go direct to the loyalty partners. Not sure there is a great deal of value having Points act as the conduit for marketing access/entitlements. Even when a deal gets signed and agreed upon the timeline to launch is painfully slow and long. 
On a positive note there are number of great middle management people that seem to have their act together.

Points was a very fun environment to work in.  Many talented people working there.  Typical day was heavy on email and conference calls, also meeting oriented. Sometimes you could be stuck in meetings literally all day and your job awaits for after business hours, but that was part of the thriving and growing work place.  Most challenging part of the job was mentoring and coaching team members that have no interest in growth.  Most enjoyable part was learning from all the new technologies the company was focusing on.

Worked in the finance team for over a year. Had to work 12 hours everyday because they were understaffed and refused to hire more people. Management played a lot of favoritism, they seem to love certain staff, while the others get ignored and can't move. Super high turnover due to long hours. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you are looking for a place you can stay at for long term and advance in your career. 

Very open concept, gave me the opportunity to grow and develop my skills (really stretch me out of my comfort zone).
Management is good, no issues there at all. 
Hardest part of the job is that you have to be driven - we don't have a lot of employees here so you'll have to make an impact. 
Best part is the team and culture - I haven't dealt with one person I don't like here yet.

Culture is great, learned a lot about partnerships and growing business, there is a lot of community involvement. As new products are being developed it's hard to see where the focus is withing the company. Are they a start up or becoming a mature company ?

Great opportunity to learn different skill sets with multiple opening in different departments.

The company support professional development by reimbursing cost of study once the employee past the exam.

Loyalty Industry is growing, but the work at Points itself is slow-paced. Opportunities for advancement in product management are limited.
Management is very focused on sales and business development this year. Three year plan sounds promising.

As QA lead worked in an agile environment that had weekly releases into production.  Worked of a new perks program for and airline client.  

Great environment to work in.

Great place to work. Casual work environment. Management ensures that the employees are happy. Employees are highly innovative and creative bunch.
