What is the best part of working at the company?
The end of my shift. It's very frustrating from not enough material on the floor, to no communication from management, the end of the shift is the only highlight 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Every single thing. Everyone working there hates it there. Twelve hours of sweeping the floor because there's no product, zero training. If it wasn't for my coworkers making it tolerable I'd go insane 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Complete garbage. Anyone not a manager is treated with little to no respect. Nothing is communicated. The others on the floor are mostly pretty good people. Management however will ensure you know exactly where you stand

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Interrogating co workers about what happened during the day to see what's happening. I was left alone to do my job which is nice but no one around to ensure my safety.

A typical day at work is full of b.s and zero organization, I learned how a company doesn't care for you as a person they only care about what money they make for them self, some of management is down right unless and should be under new management some of the staff is great and will go out of their way to help you.
If yiu like a unsafe work place this is where you go I have watch some things happen that could be prevented had the company listen to its employees and they only listen when MOL shows up thats when they care for their " employees" the most enjoyable part of the job is going home the hardest part is showing up to the job

Unfortunate to see a company with so much potential really miss the mark on a lot of things. No sense of professionalism within the facility. 

plant managers are clearly not able to run the facility. some supervisors are individuals "promoted" into the position who have no experience leading people and it shows.

the hourly employees come to work because it's a paycheque - that's it.

When there is a concern brought forth to management (plant managers), they do nothing and think it's a joke. Their inability to handle sensitive situations is the reason people leave.

There is a clear disconnect between employees and management.

I am still presently employed with Polyethics. i enjoy working with friendly people, you learn so much while working ovetime on other shifts with other lead hands and workers. I enjoyed that i got overtime hours ( recently over time is unavailable), and working twelve hours with every second weekend off.

you'd come in 10 minutes before shift to see how previous shift ran any issues what is going on. Once your shift started you would make sure everything is where it needs to be for running shift i.e. materials and temps. throughout the day you would fix any problems that arose due to the machines being older models and not in the best of shape. material that was good and came off would get boxed up and sent up to shipping to be later delivered to customers.

This is a great place for someone looking for a physically demanding job that allows for a casual attire and open door communication. It involves long hours that shift between 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights.  The work enviroment can shift between hot or cold, depending upon the weather and does not require much in the way of pre-existing skills as they train on site. 
The ability to stand, crouch, bend, lift and pull constantly is a must as you are in a factory.   The noise levels can be high.

The company has so much potential to be a great company, however they lack common sense and professionalism. They do not have the right people in the right positions (I.e management/leads) and this in turn negatively affects the organization and overall morale.

Health and safety is essentially non existent and when there is a concern brought forth to management, they do nothing. 

Clear disconnect between employees and management, thus the constant turnover.

This workplace has a deeply toxic culture driven by leadership. The COO appears primarily focused on maximizing profits for himself and the owner, often at the expense of employees’ well-being, fair workloads, and ethical management. Decisions are consistently made with money in mind rather than people, which has resulted in low morale, burnout, and a lack of trust in leadership. Transparency and accountability are severely lacking, and employee concerns are routinely dismissed.

This is a terrible place to work, when I started I was told that full rate is 18 but that never happened. They don’t care about the staff only the product. You get promised rrsp but they don’t tell anyone about it, aswell as profit sharing but I have only seen them give it out one time in 3 years. There is a plumbing leak they don’t fix. It smells all the time

The people I work with have become like family.

When the machines go down and we need to get them running again

Fun and helpful, I had a problem and the HR lady fixed it
