Premiere Suites

I worked there more than 2 years. That was the worst time in my life.

The work schedule comes daily. Which means you know your tomorrow’s shift only today evening. Sometimes even after you get call and the change it. It happened to me few times even in the morning like an hour/30 minutes before your shift. 

They’re never flexible even if you have an emergency and you need off. They even question your sick calls.

You will be questioned very badly for simple mistakes rather than training you(even you are new to that job)

Very stressful job and they always cut 1hour everyday for your lunch break.

You never get appreciation always will have belittling feeling 

The worst and stressful place to work

Typical day - 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Processing invoices & overseeing accounts payable.  
Ensuring all inter-office and outsourced invoices processed prior to month end reporting.
Bank reconciliations.
Health & Safety
Bi-weekly:
Payroll
Month End:
Depreciation.
Government, WSIB, EHT remittances.
Royalties & Ad Fund to head office.
Periodic:
Blue Cross set-up for new hire.  
Ensuring salary changes made.

I learned to never limit myself by what others have told me in the past.  

Management - the best management I have ever worked with.

Workplace culture - Management made you feel like you belonged.

Hardest part of the job - workload.

Most enjoyable part of the job - workload/sense of accomplishment.

Premiere Suites was by far the worst job I've ever had. They provided no training but I was expected know. Very poorly run and managed. All employees of Premiere Suites are stressed out and no one has a set job title or duties. The so called HR department is one person who likes to gossip about anything anyone should tell her. 

This Company who talks about professionalism has no idea how to be professional or run a professional company!

The stress level I've had here compared to other jobs I've done in my lifetime is basically none. The management runs this place absolutely perfect. There are rules to live by, which happens in every work place, but as long as you respect your coworkers and guests, and your work itself, its such a pleasant place to work. It's the most stress free job I've ever encountered. From the people I see everyday to the people in the head office, are all wonderful people who will support you in anyway they can. 

ONTARIO- Most Unqualified management team and complete fabrication of events in transition period. The management team at Toronto West was taken over by Toronto North. Their strategy for managing was to make current employees quit and for those that they couldn't make quit they fired the remaining employees and gave them meager packages. They took a successful franchise and put employee morale in the toilet. Guest relations were non existent and sales people were only were cared commissions. Very unprofessional.

Cons: A senior management that will not speak to employees or allow employees to question any decision. Systematically firing everyone that has been with company longer than he. No personality or self esteem or leadership skills of any kind. Entire staff waiting for their date with dismissal. Was once a fun exciting company. In 6 months has become a total disaster.

Pros: At this time there are none. Entire staff is looking for new jobs.

Premiere Executive Suites is a great company that offers a unique alternative long stay accommodations.

Though it was a small team, I had the opportunity to learn from everyone. Friendly, supportive, work environment with a hard working team.

A small company that really makes you want to go over and above for. Really feels like a family, hard to even consider leaving. Not afraid to make changes if a position isn't working for someone which means all team members are GOOD at their jobs.



Seems like a dream job when you start, they make you feel like a part of the team, but you’re really not. No explanation of how to improve in your role, just a
“Hire slow, fire fast” attitude.

I learned a lot at Premiere and recommend a corporate housing career to anyone. It has some great people working for the company which was one of the reasons I enjoyed being there.
