What is the best part of working at the company?

My time at Procor was extremely disappointing due to a toxic work culture. Management was poor, communication was lacking, and there was constant finger-pointing rather than accountability. The environment was not welcoming and often felt hostile, with little to no compassion shown toward employees. Despite the good pay, workers were not appreciated and were treated more like numbers than human beings. In the end, no amount of money is worth the stress, lack of respect, and negative impact on one’s well-being.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?

The most stressful part of working for the company was the constant lack of communication, which often led to finger-pointing and blame being projected onto employees in front of their coworkers. Instead of addressing issues constructively, situations were handled publicly and negatively, creating unnecessary stress and an uncomfortable work environment.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Uncomfortable, unpredictable, uncertain, lack of motivation, negativity all the time. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
typical day at Procor felt unpredictable. After the morning toolbox meeting, we were assigned tasks, but there was disorganization from the start on most days—whether it involved tools, materials, or clarity around daily responsibilities. Procedures were constantly changing, and management would often go against those same procedures. On a daily basis, I felt a lack of support from certain members of management as well as some coworkers. Overall, the work environment at Procor was disorganized and chaotic.

Micromanaged to the extent that it was stressful. When working hybrid if you did not answer Teams call right away you were questioned as to where you were. (Oh I was in the washroom or on another call)
When you didn't pick up a task quick enough the person training had no patience & was abrupt in their behavior. They use several programs. The person training was already working in the role for 3+ years. Therefore, everything was second nature to them. Their expectations was for you know know things at the same speed they were already at.

I have been working for Procor for 4 years. In that time I have learned so much and continue to learn and advance within the company. Having a great boss who actually listens to us is a major plus. The guys/gals I work with/for are wonderful.

Hardest part of the job is that it is mentally draining and can be difficult to manage life and work with young children.

Most enjoyable part of my job is learning new things each and every day. Not a boring at all. I love the crew we have here!

I thought to look to see what jobs were being offered and look what procor is looking for another supervisor. This repair shop has a common denominator  which explains the high turn over rate of supervisors. These 2 snakes are still there. The upper Management refuses to conduct an investigation. Anything from bullying, belittleing. I would think twice before stepping into the snake pit. Wear you stabb proof vest cuz they will stab you in the back. I can t give  u any reason  not to join  just remember this famous line from one of those idoits screw me once I'm going to screw u twice. It's a small world just hope they r pretty.1 ---–"_^¹^

The lower your IQ is, the more you will advance in this company. The job is dirty, but fairly simple. The pay is good and the benefits are decent. The main issue here is management, leadership is non existent. There is no such thing as preventative maintenance, or fixing equipment in general.  The union/representatives are a joke; They bend over for the company, instead of backing their brothers/sisters of the union. Which is the entire point of a union. 

It's a good place for a guranteed paycheck at a decent wage. That's it.

Some good people work there. The work is a bit repetitive but not at all hard to grasp. And your always doing something different.

Because it is a fast paced environment the job can get stressful. But take a step back breathe and all is good.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It can be stressful at times. But it really is what a person makes of it. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work work work. Lots of fun. There is always something to do.

Dealing with costumers on a daily basis.
Ensuring tank cars are inspected and in good working order before being shipped out.
Making appropriate repairs to the tank cars when defects are found.
Dealing with both C.N.R and CP railroads and all shortline railroads on a regular basis.
Woking in a timely and productive manner.
Most importantly working in a safe and freindly inviroment following all procedures and guide lines with in the industry so that we may all go home to our families each and every day.

Most of the day occupies with team meetings, it was fun talk sometimes in meeting when the work targeted competed on time, Gained expertise knowledge in my field and specifically with certain technologies like, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes. Management is super awesome, super cool and very encouraging, Workplace culture is super excited, very friendly atmosphere, colleagues are great and always available to assist with work. Lots of freedom given to complete the work on time, lesser dependency, no blockages from other teams, very flexible and reachable.

The worker are the best part of the job 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The management doesn’t really know what’s going all but just go faster

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Worker environment is very poor and the morale is very low, nobody really wants to be there except for the pay cheque 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Running around looking for tools that are broken or there is no tools. Foreman that don’t really know what’s there are doing or how to manage people.

Toxic work environment caused by very poor upper management who play employees and the supervisors off against each other, makes for a bad environment you do not want to work in. 
Lots of guys here will be glad when this COVID is over and employers start hiring again. The benefits are not good with a few running out of coverage with months to go, company also dragging out Union negotiations out so they don’t have to pay us what we are worth. Years ago it was a good place to work but the wrong people got moved into management and inspector positions.
