A normal day would consist of getting to site, recieving little to no instruction and/or training for the tasks to be completed followed by a request from the foreman to work faster as requested by the project manager(s). Working with people who speak spanish and very little to no english. Verbal and sometimes physical confrontations by co-workers and project managers. 

Working in the shop they expect you to recieve deliveries (without proper fork lift training) make deliveries of supplies to all the job sites, e.g tools, towels, tyvec suits, mask filters etc. Make supply orders and maintain organization of shop supplies (from supply deliveries, and returning to shop from completed jobs) but only supply one washer and dryer to clean towels for jobs that use 5 or more bags of towels per day (1 load of towels per bag) and one van for the deliveries/waste transfers-(without proper placards and permits) and other duties. They also expect you to take the fall if anything happens, but do not inform you that what you are doing is in fact against the law and subjects you to thousands of dollars in fines if you are caught (you have to find that information out yourself after you get laid off because one of your project managers decides he wants to hire a friend of his from highschool) and then you start recieving drunken middle of the night voicemails from them. All in all, horrible unproffessional place of work. Poorly trained staff with very bad attitudes who take no responsibility for their poor behavior at work and all around lack of ability.

Quantum used to be a great place to work. Used to feel like a family and you were well taken care of. Everyone worked very well together and people were overall happy to work there. Unfortunately things became more corporate and management became focused on numbers not people. Management no longer cares about their employees and will let people go with out warning or a legit reason. You are not recognized for your hard work and management is more concerned on focusing on one's mistakes and pointing out failures but not working to improve them. It's like they hold a grudge on the smallest mistake. My last few years at Quantum were not enjoyable and that mentality was shared my most of the senior employees. They are on track to loose good hard working people. Unfortunately management has the mentality that these people are replaceable and they can find anyone to take the job.
If you take care of your employees the numbers will show that.
Despite the issues with management I really loved this job. Good hard work with an ever changing environment and can be very exciting. 
It's too bad I have moved on. I will definitely miss it. 
People don't quit jobs they quit managers.

A typical day at work is typically dynamic and filled with various tasks and challenges. Strong leadership from managers, combined with their kindness, greatly contributes to a positive work environment. Workplace culture emphasizes the importance of everyone's voice, with all individuals being polite and respectful towards one another and their diverse backgrounds. I didn't encounter any particularly challenging aspects of the job; everything was characterized by politeness, kindness, and a high level of collaboration. The most enjoyable part of the job is the company's support for team celebrations and events.

After multiple interviews over almost six months with senior management and the VP, they finally decided to hire me for a senior level role. There was no onboarding or support for a remote based position. Despite  having only positive feedback in the short 3 months I was there, management made they call that it wasn’t working out (they ended up looking for more cost effective and local talent). Long story short, don’t hire someone of your not willing to support them and give them more than a few months to get to know the company (from a remote based location). 

All the guys on site were great to work with, we all had fun for the most part and all serious when work had to be done. Pay was great and always on time. Equipment was new and well kept.
Management to all the workers were concerned more on benefiting themselves, couldn’t get answers, ghosting calls, texts and emails meanwhile they call the person next you to tell them something, but that they are extremely busy and when they do get back to you it’s a generic sorry for the delay response.not all the management is that way though some of them are quick to respond and genuinely care.

New CEO every 1.5 years each coming with unrealistic expectations.    Senior staff is constantly fired for no good reason.   Owner doesn’t live up to commitments.   

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fear and where senior staff don’t trust each other.   It used to be a strong culture of trust but that has deteriorated.

Keep your head down and do your work.

It's not a place to work atmosphere is horrible everyone hates there job management is bad tell you want you want to hear to keep you hoping everything is old bins are old and damaged shouldn't be on the road. There is no communication from management to supervisor half the time they don't know what's going on I'm surprised there even still going I'm sure gfl will buy them out and safe them from the bleeding.lm sure money man is waiting for the offer. And the joke of the 5 stars and people saying how good it is are management writing those comments to not have low rating of stars.

When I started it was a good place to work. Then management hires and promotes their friends instead of competent workers.  They only work at getting their selves bonuses and promoting and they step all over you and sabotage your work. They have snitches in the office that will lie to get ahead.  Then they ghost you unless your a close friend.  Do not work here if you want to get ahead in the company.  Good luck getting a raise as they rarely pay their bills on time.

Management is far from where it needs to be for a company this size.
Most Estimators and project managers have little experience in Demolition. As a relatively new venture in west coast they will not survive producing work at level they are unless they get a seasoned demolition Manager. They delivered as promised but there promises were misleading when hired. Generally if your looking for Work take it if your looking for a Home pass on it as I did.
