Honestly, things just seem to get more messy every year instead of improving, which is a bit confusing considering how much talk there is about structure and direction. On paper everything sounds organized, but in reality a lot of things feel like they change last minute or get figured out after the fact.

Communication is one of the company’s biggest failures. Problems tend to originate at the top but are pushed downward for others to deal with.

Employee engagement is extremely low, which should not be surprising given the lack of transparency, alignment, and leadership presence.

The executive team operates very much like a closed circle. Leadership lacks diversity and feels like a traditional boys’ club of middle-aged men making decisions in isolation from the rest of the organization.

Accountability is also a major issue. Departments regularly point fingers at one another instead of solving problems collaboratively, and there is little ownership when things go wrong. This creates a culture where issues linger instead of being addressed directly.

I truly believe in first impressions, and I have to say I was completely impressed from the start. Every person I met during my onboarding was welcoming, kind, and always willing to help me integrate smoothly into the team.

The company culture is truly exceptional. Many positive changes have been made over the past few months, which have had a great impact on team morale and overall structure.

What I appreciate the most is the flexibility, the genuine sense of care, and the quality of work. The work-life balance here is exactly what I was looking for, and it really makes a difference day to day.

There are many exciting projects ahead, and I genuinely feel that this is the start of a great adventure!

Perception matters more than actual work, and people pay attention to who’s away from their desk and for how long. Sometimes comments even come from leaders you don’t report to, which makes the environment feel uncomfortable and overly tense. Even when you’re getting your work done, routine habits can be commented on.

Over the past couple of years, there have also been multiple title changes among executives and managers where the work doesn’t really change, but the titles get stretched out or sound bigger. It can feel like roles are being inflated without any real difference in responsibilities, which creates confusion and reinforces the idea that optics matter more than substance.
