Worked there as a supervisor and finally quit in disgust because of how badly the place is run and how badly disorganized it is. Came to the point they started to reinterpret my contract to fix their own problems. 

My advice to anyone who is applying for the Supervisor position ..... think twice!!!! You will be used, you will not be trained properly, they will not back you with troublesome employees and they will leave you hanging. Best of all you will not be involved in any decision making but will find out about changes after the fact and most probably from people on the floor. This all happened to me. On top of that you will be expected to work 6 days a week doing 50 - 60  hours meanwhile being paid for 40. This company doesn't pay Supervisors overtime pay. Also while I was there I barely got a break and when I did it was almost at the end of the day. One more thing you're going to be expected to run the shipping office at the end of the day when the day shift goes home because they are to cheap to hire someone so you'll be there until about 5 PM - 6PM like I was. 

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. You don't need the stress or to be used like I was.

Typically. my day was spent focused on the task at hand, broken up by occasional meetings. Meetings tended to be more informal, the team would just gather around our work area and discuss any issues or new directives.
I learned a great deal during my time at Wheels including the finer details of a transportation company. 
The management team was very supportive and would go out of their way to assist me if I had a problematic client to deal with, or troubleshooting when anything would go awry. Most of the management team had, at some point worked in every department, so that extensive knowledge made it very easy to discuss any problems with them. My co-workers were all very team oriented, which fostered an environment for learning and sharing. Essentially, we were all learning new things from each other every day, sharing our best practices and improving as a team. 
The most difficult part of my day was deciding when to call it a day, as the work never really stopped.
The most enjoyable part of the day was likely the time I spent on the switchboard, getting to know the customers that called in and doing my best to ensure they had a positive experience.

good but not good management 
Poor management can create many problems in a workplace or organization. A manager who lacks leadership skills may fail to communicate properly with employees, causing confusion and low productivity. Employees may feel unmotivated when their hard work is not appreciated or when instructions are unclear. Poor management can also lead to conflicts among team members because problems are not solved fairly or quickly. In many cases, deadlines are missed, and the quality of work decreases due to a lack of planning and organization. Furthermore, employees may experience stress and dissatisfaction, which can increase staff turnover. A good manager should support workers, listen to their concerns, and make effective decisions for the benefit of the team. Without proper management, even skilled employees may struggle to perform well. Therefore, strong management is essential for maintaining a positive work environment, achieving goals, and ensuring the success of any organization.


Coming to work every morning brings a smile to my face as I look forward to meeting my colleagues/team.  The atmosphere is healthy and there is a lot to learn at this place - be it my own team or any other team.  There are deadlines to reach which can be accomplished during the stipulated time frame. Additionally, there are online courses if you would be interested in taking to sharpen your skills - be it Office, Excel etc. and all are paid for by the company. The benefits plan provides various counselling sessions 24x7 where all your information is kept confidential.  Various workshops are conducted, you can reach out to your manager if you would like to attend.  The culture at Radiant is healthy and fair to all.  

Like the saying goes every day is a new day!  Here at Wheels there is always something new and exciting to look for.  Work is not always repetitive; although there a some routine jobs, which most positions hold.  Management is a good mix of being firm, friendly, respectful, understanding and always encourage to have a great balance of work and family.  Because of the culture, I personally enjoy working and interacting with most divisions including other out of town offices.  The hardest part (not always) is when you already know that  your boss is not the best communicator; but then it becomes second nature to learn to deal with different situations and make the best judgement calls.  I enjoy the people, culture and the ability to work under minimal supervison; also being recogized as a major part of the whole team.

In a typical day at work I processed bills for payment by cross-referencing amounts and invoice numbers in the system.
Rectified any discrepancies in payment by getting to the source of the discrepancies. Requested any further documentation and inform the vendors of the cause by attaching copies of short paid invoices with reasons. Paid vendors in a timely manner, ensuring the invoices correspond with the various forms of payment. Ran aging /statement reports to verify payment data. Ensured aged payables listings / statements have appropriate back up. Ensured that assignments are maintained in a timely and accurate manner. Audited cheque runs to ensure amounts, invoice numbers and addresses match. Answered internal and external queries in a timely manner. The working environment was very friendly and motivating. The hardest part was meeting the deadlines. The most enjoyable part was working with my team and learning new things from my supervisor.

The company has major potential but the warehouse lacks real leadership. Most supervisors are only in that position due to the time they’ve been there, not actual qualifications. Turnover is also high. A lot of quality talent leaves due to constraints. Rules are followed when it’s convenient to do so. Don’t expect to hear “please” or “thank you” for any extra time or effort they may need from you. The staff is the best part. You’ll find yourself relying on them more than Lead Hands or Supervisors, unfortunately. They WILL hold you down if they feel you may steal their spot. 

I'm new to Radiant and so far it's been great.  I knew from the interview process that this is a company that is structured, organized and takes care of the people.  I was right about it all and I'm glad I accepted the job offer.  

I am part of a very supportive and knowledgeable team of professional and friendly coworkers. I have help when I need it, my suggestions are heard and often implemented and I have great work/life balance.

The company is growing, it encourages promoting from within and there are opportunities throughout the year for internal training programs to help take employees to the next level.

Good clients, RF system and work.  Culture is poor and of low characteristics.  Management team lacks the ability to guide and grow employees and tries to fire employees that are more experienced than they are.  The hardest part of the job is to pretend to be stupid to make the leaders feel good about their work.  Best part of the job is the Safety management team.  They believe in their work.
