I've been working at Reliable Towing in a management capacity and have had a front-row seat to the company’s evolution from a hands-on operation to a more structured and scalable business. Like any business undergoing change, there are growing pains — certain processes are still being built out, and some legacy systems and habits are being phased out.

That said, the recent change in management has been positive. Leadership is committed to positive change, and you can feel the momentum shifting in the right direction. There’s a clear effort to modernize operations, invest in the team, and align toward long-term goals.

One of the biggest strengths of working here right now is the openness to feedback. As a manager, I’ve had multiple opportunities to suggest best practices, streamline workflows, and contribute directly to shaping how things are done. Leadership listens, and many of my suggestions have been taken seriously — and even implemented.

Working as a Customer Service Representative has been a great learning experience for me. The role keeps me on my toes, requiring quick decisions and problem-solving skills, and that’s what makes the work so engaging. No two days feel the same, and each shift brings its own opportunities to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

The transition from Chilliwack to Surrey earlier this year, combined with the arrival of a new leadership team, has been a turning point for the company. Working as a dispatcher at Reliable Towing Services has been an outstanding experience. The job is fast-paced and challenging, but that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding. Every day brings opportunities to problem solve, think on your feet, and really make a difference.

I have worked for Reliable for over 5 years. It's a great company to work for and I love the family environment.  The continued growth is very exciting and I love the challenges of the new companies they bring on. Everyone is friendly, works as a team, and are super helpful.  Communication, training, and formalizing policies/procedures have improved and have been positively received by staff. There is opportunity to transfer to any of their different locations throughout BC and Alberta.  The new head office location in Chilliwack is amazing! There is room for personal growth within this company and could bring opportunity for people who would like to achieve a great career.  Well all know there is not a perfect company.  As Reliable grows, there are things that are evolving that come along with any growing company. With this growth is an opportunity to define the future and the role you play in it. I joined Reliable Fleet Services in March and have been very impressed by the company’s pace of growth and adaptability. Over the past several years, the organization has expanded rapidly and remains committed to investing in both its people and its operations to continue maturing as a business.

The new team in Port Kells stands out as energetic, communicative, and highly professional. The workplace environment is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong sense of momentum driving the company forward.

This was a fantastic place to work at the beginning. Over the last little while we have experienced a management change and loss of a former ceo. This led to a new ceo being appointed and since then things have really gone downhill.

As an operator and manager at a division I would say it is hard to get through the day without being upset or stressed out by unrealistic goals. We are expected to be in the office during the day and run a truck at night. That’s the overworked feeling that is had.

This place really needs a refresher with regards to management as most of them have never set foot in a truck themselves. It’s hard to run a company in an industry you know nothing about let alone running it from another country.



Unprofessional dispatch manager who asks staff for money (100’s/1000’s) abusing their position of power. Hires friends and roommate’s over qualified applicants. 
HR is biased, rude and not approachable. 
If you use your money for work, it takes ages to get paid back.
Currently overhauling the company structure.
Never enough staff so your shifts are always changing or you are asked to stay late or come in on days off consistently.
Underpaid and overworked expectations go far beyond your job description and employment contract. Long term employees are not respected or valued by management. 
Do yourself a favour and do not work here. 

Great company to work for! I've been working here for years now and love it. Lots of room for growth. Management is great and treat you very fairly and make you feel appreciated. If you enjoy a fast paced, challenging and rewarding career and love working with great people then this is great choice!

Pros: Management provides snacks in the lunchroom, lots of pot lucks and holiday celebrations (Christmas catered luncheons, Halloween costume prizes ect). Headoffice is in a huge one story building with large spacious workspace areas. Clean. Free parking. Close to restaurants for take out or quick lunch breaks!

Depending on the location you work for it can be a different day to day. Some locations are busy all the time and other locations have not much to do. I've had a blast with my coworkers and had a bunch of good times with them on different jobs. 

Management has some issues, they get the job done for the most part. Just don't expect to get any positive engagement from some of the managers and higher ups.

Aside from the work life balance, the job isn't bad per se. Just be careful on which location you work at.

Please save your time and MONEY!
Constantly missing money on paychecks for “unpaid”  customer jobs.
Begging to receive reimbursement Etransfers! 
Trucks and are incredibly under maintained, dirty, sometimes unsafe. 
Pay is low and very frustrating system.
Absolutely Useless management. 
Stressful and sometimes difficult work with improper tools/equipment making jobs unsafe and more difficult to get done. 
On call 24/7 for a place that treats you like a #.

Just save yourself the frustration and stress.
