I learned a lot in my time there, but from my first day, I realized I must not have fit in due to the constant stares.  Get in, get the experience and move around.  Some managers are nightmares to work for, but others are great.

Pay and Pension are good, Benefits are "ok" for a bank.

Advice: Do your research on whom you will be working with, then go from there.

quite busy meeting clients and on the telephone, liked working on the computer, learned all about RRSPs and stocks and bonds My supervisor was quite supportive.  The co-workers were all nice.  The hardest  part  of the job was March with RRSP season it was quite stressful.  The most enjoyable part of the job was talking and meeting the clients during a meeting or on the telephone.

It was very exciting to help set up a new division from the ground up (the floor were still concrete when I began my position). I was with the department while it grew from just two (the boss and I), to eight or nine people. I was the general office manager, and provided Executive Assistant support to the Department Director. 

I left this position to return to university.

All staff were good guys & good team players. No matter what you want to borrow from them, calculator, Ball pen...they always say"Be my Guest...Be my Guest..."

Great people, Great Office!

I provided support for the Loan officers & ensure all the loan documents were correctly filled out.  If errors were made I'd return them to the Loan officer to have them corrected by the customer.  I was the support for 9 branches.

Receive all clients insurance applications, enter them into the system, contact clients to verify information, download the process applications onto tapes and send to head office.  Also answer any questions clients may have, up date manager on the progress of all applications receive.

Data entry , Collection ,Loans ,Insurance Claims, Bankrupcy and foreclosures.
Learned a lot about insurance side of banking.
Co- workers were great
Down town commute.
Great job ,people and management.

Wrote a lot of receipts  and took care of service charges.  Learned that this kind of office work had little challenge and was boring.  Co-workers were always helpful.  The hardest part of the job was finding the fun of it.  The most enjoyable part was closing the day.

Overall a good company with good benefits and perks.  Hardest part of the job is not getting the answer that you were waiting for first time round. The most enjoyable part is when everyone is a team player

Great on the job training moving from teller to data center and encouragement to move ahead.
