Worst job I ever had, and this is coming from a guy that used to flip burgers and scrap  garbage cars at the same time. Any reasonable person will leave after about a week, and dont bother giving your resume if you're an apprentice who wants to learn, especially if You like to do things right, not to mention co-workers who will sit at the break table and look at dumb stuff on their phones while you're doing all the bad jobs, getting bad pay, working bad hours, and learning a bad attitude from the happy go-lucky techs. I went there with the best intentions and left with a distaste for what I do even though I've moved on to a good local company with good guys in the shop I still can't help but kind of hate the trade I'm in. Way to go Rush, you guys really know how to _ the good people off, forever.

I have been with the Mississauga location for just over 6 years, and say that for the most part I enjoy my job. Yes some customers can leave a sour taste in your mouth. But I still enjoy coming to work.

Rush has given me opportunities that previous employers would never even consider.

As a father with children at home. I have had to balance certain things between work and home. The company has been accommodating without ever making feel guilty of having to choose between work and family. 

Safety in the entire workplace is a positive. All employees are encouraged to do their part. And I know for me. Going home to my family is important.

The company encourages training, and keeping up to date on industry changes. Industry reps visit to educate techs, and parts staff on industry changes.

If you like a challenge and have a good work ethic. I say give Rush a look.

I have been working at Rush Truck Centers for over seven months now and I can easily say that one of the best things about working here have to be the people I am working with. We depend on each other for a variety of reasons from problem solving to simply giving a hand which keeps even the most stressful and "go,go,go" moments reasonable to handle. Management is very helpful and understanding as well, any problem or question I have is answered to the best of there abilities. They are very flexible and understanding when I need to take sudden vacation and sick days. Their flexibility extends to overtime as well and There is plenty of it.  I can come in earlier, stay later, work on the weekend, basically whenever I want!

Everyday at Rush is welcoming. 

Staffs greet each other with a warm smile and professional courtesy. 

Being a recent employee at Rush and having little to no knowledge about trucks, I have been treated with respect and I am constantly learning something new. Management are team players and they reward employees for their hard work.

Each department works as a team to obtain one single objective; Client satisfaction.  

There will be times of headaches and frustration in the workplace, but there is always room for growth and Rush is consistent in developing better work ethic, equipment and employee-customer relationships.

I truly recommend Rush Truck Centres when it comes to career opportunities and employee satisfaction.

I have been with this group for more that 10 years and have had my ups and downs but to be honest I can't imagine working anywhere else. 
I have always been treated fairly and have had all of my questions and concerns addressed and resolved.
If you are willing to put in the effort to succeed the company will do everything to help you. There is an abundance of training and tools available to help with your day to day activities.
Benefits are great and probably the best in the industry. There is a RRSP matching plan available as well.
Overall I would highly recommend any of the Rush Truck Centres for your next place of employment.

I really enjoyed the people there the most, really enjoyed the mechanics, fellow service advisors and most parts people. Management is utter garbage. Belittling mechanics, service advisors, whomever he wanted with no repercussions. General manager would let your issues go through one ear and out the other. All their concerned about are numbers and looking good. CEO would stop in and never introduce himself or say hi, you don’t matter. Pay wasn’t great but benefits were good. The yard was always full of potholes and never maintained, customers would complain and nothing was done. Shop is old, washrooms are old and unpleasant.

I’ve been with this company for just under 3 years and can honestly say that you get what you put into it. Work is work, but your attitude and personal drive is what makes the workplace a great place to work at. The department I am currently in, works as a team. We build each other up, we help each other out when needed. We excel as a team and we take our criticisms as a team. I’ve never worked for a place where they do that and it was/is refreshing. We all know what we need to do, to do well and we do it. No questions asked...no whining and complaining. Based on what I have observed that seems to be the way many within our location view it.

The corporate management in Canada is almost non existent. They hinder you and railroad you at almost every opportunity. They offer zero training, zero support and the only way you’ll advance your career is through “kissing the ring”. The senior management is intimidated by young, ambitious talent and will disregard, dismiss and do anything they can to discredit you. The company has lost its way, its integrity, moral compass, and true leaders. The old adage of 20 percent of the people, do 80 percent of the work has never been truer. 

Great place to grow with and work for. Employees are given all the opportunities to achieve increases and bonuses if they are willing to work. Overtime is always rewarded with not only pay but often paid for meals and praise. This is the first place of many I have worked where annual COLA raises are given.  Such a nice thing to know that as life gets more expensive every year, even if you’re at the top of your game and salary, your work and loyalty gets rewarded.

Great place for learning and working on different models and brands of trucks in the industry. Great co-workers, always felt like a big family there to me. Unfortunately it is not managed the greatest and the shop & it's tools aren't well maintained. It can also be stressful at times with all the pressure being put towards the shop side. That being said it's a great place to start off and learn, and the teamwork and co-workers are amazing there !
